I've watched a few Lost episodes and I have to agree with the general concensus - Jack is a doll! Without a doubt.....

That said, I've tried and tried to get into this show. First I watched a few first run episodes, trying to catch up. Thoroughly confused, but fans seem to be anyway. So I thought okay I'm not alone. Then a string of reruns....I taped them all, have only found time to watch one.

We have 4 shows on Wednesday nights already! And I've decided I just can't take on another.

Good luck trying to figure out Lost. When I heard Letterman had a monologue about this show and how he's so confused, I thought okay even Dave doesn't get it!

What I find confusing but equally interesting, are the flashbacks! So enjoy the show all.....I'll just pass. Had I jumped aboard back in Sept., I'd be somewhat up to speed.

Nothing confusing?!!! I love disaster movies....I really do. But they threw out the disaster movie formula with Lost! It's too much work to figure all of this out......but I did give it my best shot. Oops, pun intended. Saw the end of Wednesday's show...

well well well

Now Sawyer hears the whispering voices. Maybe the "mystery" on the island has something to do with bringing back things that haunt each person. Look at what Sayid was remembering, then Sawyer when they heard voices. Look what even the French woman went through (husband and son). I don't know...this is really too weird. Who is making these noises or is all in their mind? And if it's all in their mind, what's causing it? Who or what is in that dang door in the ground?

Although it was definitely strange, I couldn't help but find it hilarious that the boar was singling out Sawyer. Kate's stuff was ok but he even unpacked his bag and peed on his shirt. LOL

Also, I can't help but feel sorry for Sawyer now.

That is an interesting take, Kelly. And it DOES make sense!! I had to laugh when the boar peed on Sawyer's shirt! I just don't like Sawyer, though. That Locke is just a strange one.

I think Sawyer is deep down inside a good person, but because how he was raised and what he went thru and how he grew up, he can't let himself be "good", he feels like he has to be the bad guy. I really loved the part of the boar and the TT on the shirt......

Do ya'll think Claire's baby is OK????? How did she get away??? just walked off when Ethan wanted her so bad he killed somebody to make them give her back? I find that hard to believe.

And Jack is DEFINITELY A HOTIE!!! I really hope that Sawyer tells Jack that he met his Dad in that bar and what his Dad said about him being proud of his son for what he did.......I think that would help them get along a little bit better. But they both sorta "want" Kate and she sorta wants both of them......looking forward to more shows to try and figure out what the heck is going on.

And what's up with Boone? He has wigged out hear lately since finding the "door in the ground" with Locke and the episode of him halucinating about his sister being killed.

Miss Mary, don't give up!!!!!

Ok so in this last episode, Charlie kinda had an attitude towards Claire. Why? Is it because she didn't immediately remember him and run back to his arms in joy? Did I miss something?

I'm just not grasping why he's pushing away all of a sudden.

Charlie was dealing with killing Ethan. Post traumatic stress syndrome.

Also, after talking to Sayid about killing Ethan, he did go find Claire and ask her to take that walk.

MSRobi...I wish I knew if her baby was ok. The whole thing is too weird, with what the psychic saw and all. What did he see to say that SHE had to be the one to raise the baby? And then this Ethan freak (or group of them) want her for her baby. What the heck?

I want to know what's in the freaking door in the ground! Why aren't Locke and Boone (and everyone) spending every available moment trying to open the dern thing? Instead, Locke got mad when Boone wanted to tell the others. What's up with that?

Just read the Lost article in the new TV Guide for next week. Thought I'd bump this thread up so you all can get into it again. After a string of reruns, more new episodes will again. After reading this article, I wish now I had watched Lost from the pilot on. Dang! I tried getting into it, then they kept airing reruns, and I was SO confused. We have 2 shows at 8 to watch on Wednesdays anyway....hard to tape the third.

READ that article....it implies the season finale will be as big as the Dallas "Who Shot JR" one! Wish I could find it online, but apparently it's in print version only. Otherwise I'd post a link.

Time for TIVO, Mary. Tape two shows at once!

I watch just a small handful of shows each week..and my boys and Deb got us hooked on American Idol, but our DVR lets us watch what we want when we want otherwise.

We've followed LOST from the beginning, but feel the need for the pace to quicken here going into the summer. Lots of character development in the early going....and now we need some plot development?

Like why are the Polar Bears there?
What about the rest of those who were originally with the French woman?
Where's the power coming from for the broadcast signal?
What's with the voices?
...and other pressing questions like..
How did that pilot end up in the top of the tree?
How long can a woman stay pregnant on a deserted island?
...and how can we get some more viewing time for the murderess Evangeline Lilly (Kate) from Canada?
...and the biggest question of all?
How come Hurley hasn't lost a single pound yet?

Steve - we have a DVR, that came with an upgrade to our Satellite tier. We can only tape one show but while it's taping, we can watch anything else we've recorded. What I remember about cable was you could tape one show on the VCR, then watch another on the TV. Can't do that with our DVR!!! For all it's capabilities, you'd think that would be an option.

Oh well......when American Dreams got moved to Wednesdays at 8, I said what next? LOL That's Nina's show....we have to tape it for her. She's watched from day one and has a dance class at that time.

Sad news about American Dreams, I think.

After this episode, I suspect it will NOT return next season. Just a gut feeling I have.

As for the DVR...ours can tape two in the same time slot through cable. Guess I thought that was the standard. You can't watch a third show while that is happening, but you can buy yourself doing something else for an hour, and then come back when they are over and watch each separately while recording something else.
