I agree about sending a message. I think we're way too light on crime and criminals get way too many chances. Get REAL TOUGH and the next scumbag might think twice.

This scumbag went on a multi state killing spree. He was also loitering in front of the Walmart store and going in and out of the bathroom walking all around the store. Seems someone would have deemed him suspicious and called the police! Makes no sense to me. The only reason they caught him is because he went to a hospital with a gunshot wound and the victim's truck was parked at the hospital!!

Someone did think he was suspicious - a security guard at Walmart. He asked him what he was doing and he said he was waiting on a ride. That was it.

He was waiting on a ride alright. Police should have been called plain and simple.
