Bill - I don't think I've read how you came to own Annabelle, or how she owned you until now. How sad her puppy days started out like that. I agree, some people just have no business having pets and/or children. To take it much further.

Annabelle is in a wonderful home now and that's all that's important.

No, I've never met anyone face to face. I've talked on the phone with many and feel as though I know them personally. Dennis and Michelle(The Snowman), Steve(Poppysky), David (VB), Bill (Streetsoldier), Jeremy, (therock) and Raine. Others I haven't talked to personally but have known for five years thru TWC and Storm2k and they are good friends.

I've had many many successful internet/real life meetings! I annually see Grimreaper Lady when in FL....she comes to see me in various places I may be living as well...OHD...met him...he's a doll....hopefully he'll be stopping by and seeing me in So Cal this summer...From the old TWC chat days...I met old chatter "Scott" on a Disney cruise....rolls eyes...I hooked up with meterologist Mike Seidel in NC and a few other TWC OCM's...and I met my husband Brian through chat at TWC.......if I am forgetting anyone...soooo sorry!


And I have talked on the phone to many here in the past as well...Azskyman, TLC, J, Lindaloo and her sister...or maybe just her sister?? Was sooo long ago...Talk to OHD, and Grim Reaper Lady also...

To answer the question at hand, since I didn't before, I haven't met anyone at S2K and/or TWC Chat/Board days (since many of us 'met' that way). But I have spoken on the phone with 3 members here: TLC, Duckie/Shawn and uh, well someone who doesn't post anymore (Mayberry).

Sometimes I think we should organize meetings that would regional. For example, here in the Cincinnati area, we could find a central meeting place such a Starbucks. TLC and Jeremy could come up from KY. CincinnatiSun, polarbear and I could meet them. I would estimate that TLC would have the farthest to travel. If I'm missing another Cincy or N. Kentucky/SE Indiana member, forgive me. Just an idea.

My daughter got a Persian kitten from Fur (all done behind my back...lol, we all know how I feel about cats). I wish she hadn't moved sooooo far away this time.
