Thanks for seeing my point. There are very gentle dogs out there and you can't just rule the entire species out. There are very good people out there, but you can't write off the entire human race as bad. Not that anyone said that. I'm just saying there are good/bad parents. Gentle/mean dogs too. Good/bad dog owners. This lady belongs in the bad parent, bad dog owner categories. She was not looking out for her child's best interests here.

Had she owned a dog like mine though, her child would be playing with his dog right this minute. And we'd be describing scenes like Eric pointed out. My Golden is with me 24/7, she was not trained to be this way, she just is this way. A people loving dog. And a few members here swear that you can raise a pit bull to be a gentle, loving dog. Since I respect these members, I'm just going to trust them on this opinion. Anything's possible.
