SHOCKED!!!

at what just happened... WOW. :shocked!:

Oh and I was :roflmao: when Bree said Rex's mother was no longer invited to the funeral and that she would have security guards with sticks to beat her if she tried to enter the church.

THAT was an ending.

That was a better cliffhanger than the one in the finale.

So what's living up there?

You mean down in the dungeon? Or bunker (oops, wrong show, LOL). That was really creepy. The mother seems even more Stepford like than Bree was (patting herself on the back for her son's good upbringing).

Makes me think of that sicko couple in Ohio that adopted 11 children, and put them in cages at night. But that is sadly a true story (kids are out of there now).

Thank God Lynette left the interview and picked up her baby! While I want her to succeed in the business world I also want her to remain a mother and not turn into a witch like her boss.

Did a whoa when we thought Zach might be dead. Glad he wasn't. That is one mixed up kid. Wouldn't you be?

Sure sounded like Rex was dead (his body creaking like that). Thought Bree would just remove the old necktie but didn't expect her to put another one on him and raise his body up like that. When she sat him up I swear I was expecting a wink! Dang......wanted him to be alive.

Oh he's dead. He may appear in flashbacks, but he's dead. GONE.

I'm just hoping Bree comes to realize that George murdered him.

Oh and I think we pretty much know how Susan/Mike get back together(next week!) now... Susan finds Karl(her ex) together with Edie... she and Susan used to fight over Mike, now that she's taken, she can have Mike all to herself.

Question for everyone:

What color was the person's arm that is in the basement?(corrected, I thought attic, preview says basement)

I say white... if it's black it's VERY light. My theory initially was the father was locked up, but if it's white that is kinda dead.

It's Rex's hand....sorry Brent....couldn't resist. I do know he's dead!

The hand was white and very much alive. Probably hadn't seen sunshine in months or years. That's why the skin was so pale.

I mean my theory is dead...

If the person is white, then it's almost 100% certain he's not the father, and now I even wonder if the boy is her son.

I loved seeing Lynette mult-tasking - changing the baby and having clear and concise plans for the agency. So glad she got the job. And I loved the way Bree went thru the congregation looking for the perfect Ralph Lauren tie.

My daughter says it's Zacks arm since he's gone missing. I wish I could have watched the episode...had our friends from the Lake Charles area over and they got a higher rating than tv  But I did get to see Lynette changing Pennys diaper while being interviewed after leaving her jerky husband on the floor with his hurt back! You go Lynette!!!!!

Laura asked me - what's she looking for? I said, a tie. I just knew that's what she was looking for. I loved Lynette's reaction too - as if to say, Tom don't argue with the grieving widow! It was an odd scene but didn't surprise me one bit.

CM - your daughter might be right! That could be Zach. But why give a teen boy a rose?

Between Lost and DH, there isn't a normal storyline in the bunch! I love it. It would suck to be Amish right now....

TV Guide's Monday morning Watercooler DH critique....

http://www.tvguide.com/TV/Watercooler/

Desperate Housewives

At like, 8:58, I was giddy that the girls were coming back, loaded with six Emmys and tons of expectations. And you know what? Eh. Even the "oh my God" moment of Zach's so-called death was smudged — first by his not being dead, then by Susan's ditching Mike over his creepy lovechild. Come on. We probably won't see the man-fro'd geek for a few more episodes and James Denton has apparently upped his cardio. Have at it, woman! You too, Gaby. Carlos is still locked up, he thinks it's his baby… now go get that John boy back. Roses, non-alkie Mimosas, the abs. Give that up, you're as dumb as you are slutty. As for my Bree, I'm loving her going head-to-twisted-head with Rex's mom and the idea of a Marcia Cross meltdown gives me the vapors. But replacing his prep-school tie mid-funeral? Please, the widow Van de Kamp would so know that was poor form. Though she does get line of the night for that "I will go non-denominational so fast" threat to switch churches just to bar her monster-in-law from the service. And speaking of burials, are they trying to kill Felicity Huffman's shot at a second statue? Having Lynette cart Penny to an interview was silly enough. That she scored the job while changing her diaper had my eyes rolling in new and exciting ways, OK? I half-expected the boss to throw in a "you've got moxie" after he hired her. Don't get me wrong, I adore my Wisterians. I just wish there was more "wow." And more Alfre Woodard. Hopefully we'll get both soon, on top of some info about the Applewhite's basement prisoner. Until then, let's all ponder whether Matthew is really Mary's son and which of our Housewives had a little work done over the summer. Other than the obvious, of course. We'll discuss next week. — Damian J. Holbrook

I checked... not before the next episode.

I'll check a site that had easy downloads last year of the episodes later, they used to have them up within a couple of days.

David - I have it on VSH tape. Shawn doesn't need it afterall. She and her friend could watch DH.

So it's just sitting there, waiting to be shipped somewhere needy....PM me if you want it.

Since we record mostly by DVR now, I even doublechecked to make sure I entered the correct channel AND turned the VCR off. he he Just a year ago, I did this all the time. A DVR does spoil you......

Let me know...
