Her farewell on Today almost made me cry. I really like Katie and Matt. They make a good team. She doesn't start on the CBS Evening News until September. So from May 31-September, there'll be no Katie:(

i havent watched the Today Show in years because of her. I will watch the evening news once out of curiosity, but dont imagine i'll make a habit out of it. Maybe we can start writing letters to CBS now appealing for the makeup person to lose the eyeliner.

ABC News (Elizabeth Vargas) announced that it is a welcome change on the Nightly News Front... Right now, Vargas anchors the ABC Nightly News while Bob Woodruff is recovering from his wounds in Iraq. Vargas is not a 'single' anchor like Couric will be.

NBC is truely loosing a great anchor. I wish Katie the best of luck, but I doubt she'll do as well at CBS.
