I watch TV Land or NUTHIN 8-) Dont' watch too much network tv, it's news, TV Land, "The UNIT" of course and last but NOT least, CSI Las Vegas......the rest, I really don't care for nor do I watch! I will NOT watch any reality shows.

The only 3 NBC shows I watch are My Name is Earl, The Office (love it!) and of course ER (out of loyalty mostly). That is about it.

I was just reading that since 7th Heaven has been 'saved', another hour long drama had to go for that former network. Sadly, Everwood did. Now I never watched Everwood but heard it was quite good. I just had enough shows to watch each week when it premiered so I didn't take it on. And now it's gone - that's too bad for it's loyal fans....

I'm looking forward to doing something besides watching TV shows for the summer. It will be nice. Hey I might rediscover what's stashed away in my closets!!! LOL I'm going on a mission this 10 week break from work - tackling one area a week in my house. Wish me luck!

Summer shows to watch:

Gameshow Marathon
Hell's Kitchen
Big Brother 7: All-Stars 8-)

and maybe some other things(mostly repeats), those are the main ones.

Yeah, it's sad what's happened to NBC. I watch ER and SVU, that's about it. I miss the days of Brandon Tartikoff. He was a programming genius. Must-See-TV, Hill Street Blues, L.A. Law, Facts of Life, Cosby, Miami Vice, A-Team, Cheers, St. Elsewhere, Night Court -- all his. Then, of course, there was a lot of good stuff that followed after his death -- Friends, Seinfeld, JAG, Law & Order, Quantum Leap, Mad About You, News Radio, and Wings.

I hate to say it, but ABC appears to be back on top like it was back during the late 70's/early 80's with everything from All In The Family, Happy Days, Love Boat, Roots, The Day After, all those Steven J. Cannell cop dramas and Aaron Spelling soaps, Mork & Mindy, Taxi, Three's Company. Now they have Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, and Lost -- all shows with a strong following, along with the just-ended Alias.

CBS has Survivor and CSI. Other than that, I'm not sure what's in their wallet.

CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, Without a Trace(follows CSI, but will now air Sundays at 10 in the Fall), NCIS, The Unit, Two and a Half Men(the highest-rated sitcom currently on TV) are the big ones. Most of their hits are crime dramas which is why I don't watch much CBS, but a lot of people do watch and that's why they finished the 2005-2006 season in 1st(they skew older, FOX won in Adults 18-49). ABC finished 2nd in total viewers. They were also the only network to grow among 18-49 year-olds. CBS, NBC, UPN, WB were down, FOX was flat year-to-year.

I guess I should have said "the whole CSI trilogy." :) NBC did have the Law & Order thing going for a while, but now it seems SVU is the only one worth watching.

LOL! I still don't count UPN, WB, or Fox. :)

Well UPN/WB will become The CW in September. Fox pretty much single handily is saved by Idol and 24 which both come at midseason. Their Fall lineup(with the exception of House) is extremely weak. If Idol ever collapses(and it will one day), they will be in a situation similar to NBC now, where they are really struggling.

The highest-rated show this season on NBC was Deal or No Deal Monday at #13. SVU placed #23. ER has fallen to #30, down 21% from last season.
