Strange People

My dad always referred to the assorted wierdos and nut-jobs as "doodlebugs". Over by the old Naval Training Center, there lived this guy for years and years. No joke, he wore this Dracula get-up all of the time, was really pale looking and could often be seen standing out by the road just before sunset, just staring up and down the street. Never heard of the cops having to get him or of any interest in kids, etc. Never heard of him out running around at night, either. Then he just disappeared. I still think about that every time I drive along that road.
