Why only Islamic terrorists? How about all terrorists?

I don't like them either. But hate is such a strong emotion...I reserve it for the brainwashed cowards.

It airs on Sunday and Monday.

Imagine that! Maybe because it portrays some actual blame? My guess is yes.

Michael Moore is a renegade. ABC has always been left. This is why the movie should be viewed based on that fact alone.

I do not watch politically biased movies, most are full of half truths and some down right lies. Thus I will not watch this one. One word of note: Don't believe everything you see or hear that is made by hollywood.

If anyone watched the whatever passes for the Today show this morning, they had a man on who is a former FBI agent involved with the goings on back in the 90's concerning this. He was hired as a consultant for the movie after the first person(the one this guy said was most qualified to "consult" on the movie)quit due to the lies, etc. that he found in the script. This newer guy was given a copy of the script and asked to read it and mark it up with comments/corrections. He did so and they made it very clear that they were going to do what they wanted as opposed to using his remarks to keep the movie/documentary truthful to what actually happened. He was told it was a documentary, not a fictionalization of the events. This is just what I saw on the news this am and not a comment about how I feel about the situation and how it was handled previously. I will say though that I will be less likely to watch this after what I saw.

In an entirely apolitical vein ...

I agreed with the CBS decision to withdraw their docudrama about the Reagans when serious objections were raised about it.

I at least understood and did not in any way object to Disney's decision not to distribute "Fahrenheit 9/11".

Thus I am truly baffled at Disney/ABC's intransigence with regard to airing this apparently seriously flawed drama. They should do the right thing and withdraw it.

There's are numerous documented falsehoods in the film. So unless we're living in Orwell's world ...

Michael Moore created his film out of pure hatred. This one, at least, has been documented by actual consultants. It seems to me that this film is on middle ground. I am going to watch this one.

So the fact that ABC even admits that multiple crucial scenes are simply fiction doesn't disturb you in the least? Doesn't an issue of this importance merit the strongest possible fidelity to the truth?

I know I'm going to watch it as well Linda.

A bit off topic - I bought United 93 today. I wanted to wait for it to come out on DVD so I could watch it in private. I'm glad I did. I found it difficult to watch and emotional. Thank goodness for waterproof mascara.

I read that ABC is going to clearly state that this is not a documentary

Yeah... it seems that at first it was going to be a documentary, but it's obvious now it'll be a dramatization. I'll be watching, I don't care either way. It's a movie, it's not supposed to be all true.

Documentary/dramatization....

Either way, misinformation will continue to be presented and many of those watching will no doubt say "I knew it" when in all actuality, they know little to anything at all, with respect to the events leading up to "The Path to 9/11."

Sadly the general American public feeds off this kind of sensualistic type of movie making.

Seems a couple of other movies were like that but didn't here anyone complaining whether it was truth or fiction. I believe these were labelled as documentaries as well.

Where do they say this?

Watching this versus a Michael Moore film? I will watch it. Michael Moore spews nothing but filth.

I have the ability as do most people to decipher which is truth and which is fiction. Please do not pass judgement on me.

artist, you are speaking of a few on here that stated Michael Moore's film was free speech. lol. Guess the same rules do not apply to middle ground?

I just was flipping channels and caught a Colonel on FNC who worked under Clinton(the nuclear football from 1996-1998). He has seen the movie and said it was actually very kind to Clinton but was pretty hard on President Bush(especially Condi Rice).
