I had a post disappear the other day. I posted a story that was meant to chear some up when they were having a bad day and it was deleted within minutes. Wether it was in the wrong topic for that or what i was never told. I have been reading for a few months and post when I feel the urge, but I do not feel like it is a place that I would call home. I feel it is kind of Cliquish. Especially when the ones who post all the time can almost post anything they want and I get one deleted for no apparant reason.

They do have a PM feature here, I thought.

Where did you post Intimidator? If a post is deleted the Mod/Admin that did it usually sends a PM to the user expaining the reason why. I just curious as to what happened...

Hello intimidator..If a post of yours was deleted without explanation..it was probably a mistake..Otherwise it was in violation of the rules of posting..IE obscene..vulgar or profain..As I said it also could have been and probably was a mistake..We the staff are human too :wink:

About your comment about being cliquish :o ...We are all a family here..Some of us are closer because we work together on a professional basis..and some have been here longer than some others..you get the gist..We try to make everyone feel welcome here and feel like part of the STORM2K family. If you aren't comfortable here I am truely sorry and hope as time goes by you will be. If there is anything we can do to help you out..don't hesitate to ask.. Thats why IMHO We are "The Best Board On The Net" Hopefully you feel at ease here now. Have a Great Day!!!

Thanks for the reply.
I posted a story in the get it off your chest thread. Meant to lighten up the mood a bit showing how another person had a really bad day. In my opinion, it was not vulgar, obscene, or profain. Although maybe others thought that it was. I changed any off color words with symbols, or cleaner words. The content was not too terrible, but of course others may have thought otherwise. In any case, I thought that I should have received some kind of PM stating that it was deleted and the reason as to why.

Anyway, water under the bridge. Thanx again for replying.

I did read your post Intimidator. It was under the "Vent" topic. I was almost rolling on the floor from laughing so hard and when I went to reply to it, it was gone. You did change the questionable words with symbols, and I thought it was still pushing it alittle bit, but I didn't complain. When I saw it was gone, I kind of figured that someone thought it was alittle too much and they deleted it and I left it at that and it was handled between you and the mod/admin.

I think that you can see that the Mods/Admin are on top of things here and really do want to make sure things run smoothly.

Not sure who deleted it intimidator, but if it had anything to do at all with that link you had posted then I AM VERY GLAD they did.. Means our mod team is doing there job..

I got a chance to read it and didn't think that it was too terrible. Gross....yes but part of life. Disgusting life maybe, but life.

As to this site. It is a great place to get away from it all. mods/Admins are right on the ball whenever they are needed. kind of like UnderDog......heehee
