The Governor of South Carolina was unable to vote this morning after he couldn't find his voter registration card at the poll. He had to leave and get a new card. He came back 90 minutes later to vote.

He's having a bad week after burning his eyeballs (really) under a stage light on Sunday night.

No word yet on who he voted for.

He "resides" in Columbia, but his actual house in on Sullivan's Island. So what...he forgot his card. Normally they would ask for a Driver's License, but his Driver's License says Columbia......

They just reported on the local news that 2 counties in Florida got the wrong ballots.

They didn't say. I'm trying to find it on the net. I think they did say central Florida.

I'm a resident of SC and have NEVER had to show my voter registration card, just my license. Things that make you go Hmmmmmmm

CNN is reporting that the most commonly cited issue influencing votes today has been Corruption in Washington. Also, people cited National issues as more important than Local.

The first exit polls don't necessarily tell you a lot, but it does foreshadow bad things for Republicans.

Things can change literally by the minute, so don't start feeling too confindent in the turnout of the election.

Turnout in Virginia continues to be described by some as "extraordinary."

High turnout tends to be bad for the incumbent.


Turnout in the other battleground states continues to be high.

Heard something funny - kinda. One of the polling places in New Port Richey is supposedly packed. They said to bring a book - a big book. Said War and Peace would be good. Now, what smarty pants said that?

Not being political - just struck me as funny.

Ok, I'm going to preface this. Exit polls are not the final word. A burst of turnout at the end could change everything.

turnout in florida has been labeled as record turnouts that compare to presidential elections. there was a line down the street and there has never been a line at my precinct.

Well, as I said, they only show votes SO FAR. And almost every Senate race is extremely close.

The big ones at 7:00. T-minus 25 minutes.

Indiana House seat 2 and New Hampshire House seat 2 are the bellwethers to watch at 7:00. If the Democrats take both quickly, it is a good indication of what's to come. If they persist as too close to call for a long time or if Republicans win one, the GOP has some hope.
