Never knew there'd be so many righty's reading mags "back to front"!!!! And as you've all discovered as I have, sometimes you find gems in the back pages. Editorials, etc. Sections you'd miss sometimes if you didn't check out that last page first.
Learn something new everyday! I blamed this peculiar habit on my wacky, lefty brother. That could be a separate topic - if you're a lefty, are you a calm, sane person or are you just a bit off-center, wacky, your own thnker, etc. My brother definitely is!!!! Very different from the rest of us - LOL! Oh the nuns had a real time of it with him in grade school (50s). They tried in vain to make him write/print right handed. It didn't work - yes, he's quite stubborn too. Funny thing I've noticed, as I bop along thru life, you notice someone is left handed you sort (or I should say I do this) of look at that person a little differently. Me? I'm usually comparing them to my wacky brother - as if to explain the lefty thing on their habits. Or the other way around.

Well, I started out as a lefty, but my mom had other intentions for me. I think she thought left-handedness had something to do with evil or witches or something (LOL), so she forced me to learn to write with my right hand. I can use both hands, but I mostly use my right out of habit. I still voted "bi" though since I can do both.

Left.....Left.....Left !!!!!
Actually.......Everyone starts out left-handed until they commit their first sin!!
There are many theories about what causes left-handedness. One that interests me is that babies who survive a difficult birth are most likely to be left handed! Such a marvelous thing the brain is! Do you suppose something may trigger left-handedness as a survival technique?!?
Out of 6 siblings, I am the only "lefty".....neither parent was left-handed either. I had my designated spot at the table....always a corner where I didn't poke somebody with my elbow! Boy! Back on the "old days" it was really tough in school if you didn't get one of those left-handed desks.........those wire bindings on note pads were challenging too.........and right-handed people PULL the letters along on the paper.......us lefties have to PUSH 'em! Messy, messy, messy.......always smeared! Today, the magic word to help in the educational process is "accomodate".....but I've yet to notice it in pertaining to us lefties!
Most lefties are very creative.....they've HAD to be because the entire world is geared for the right-handed majority! No matter if it's dialing the phone, flushing the toilet, starting the car, etc., etc........we've had to adjust! They say 10% of the population is left-handed......and usually us lefties notice other lefties very quickly!..............p
