Hi P.K.

Sounds nice. Snow in England is pretty... And generally it does melt so that you don't have to shovel it or look at huge piles of dirty snow near the roadways. Warmer there also.

Today we are 30 F and it's sunny. But landscape is all white (the 10 inches of snow are pretty much still there). And we're due for nasty weather here on Cape Cod next week. Unsure at this point whether it will be freezing rain, sleet, or snow--but it more or less guarantees power cuts, etc. Our electric utility is not all that wonderful in the best of times.

Pt. Sunny Saturday with highs near 50, perhaps a bitt higher. Rain Sunday, maybe some flurries Sunday night, but that is unlikely. Cooler with highs Sunday in the 40s.

Nice and sunny here!!! Has been that way for most of Febuary! Quite odd for the normally wet pacific northwest.

Going to relax and do a little fishing today under the nice warm sun!!!

Here is a pic I took the other day out in my boat, the mountain in the backround is MT. Baker in the Cascade range.

Here in Stanwood WA we hit a high in the mid 50's after a low in the upper 20's, but it felt much warmer with the bright sun, people were out fishing and wakeboarding on the lake. People mowing there lawns in shorts, truly felt like a late spring day!!

Here are a couple of pics I took this evening...........

UPDATE: Looks like we will break our string of wet Sundays (up until this weekend, every Sunday has been wet!).

Now, after a few morning ISOLATED showers, partial clearing this afternoon with highs in the mid 40s. A bit of a cool down for Monday and Tuesday (probably in response to that powerhouse system out east), then back to near 50 for Wednesday through Saturday. I can hear spring calling! :) In fact, the METEROLOGICAL spring starts Tuesday. :D The next thing to get fired up for my area is the severe weather season. ;)

We're socked in with rain. It's light right now but will increase in intensity by early afternoon. There are no breaks as far as I can see.
