Tonight I ate 2 corndogs for supper. Did not feel like fixing anything big since I have the house to myself. Parents are out of town for the weekend visiting my grandparents in Picayune, MS. Could not go because I have to work.

Last night was Mexican at El Chamol. The three of us shared a carafe of sangria, tastes of our entrees: chicken tamales, cheese enchiladas, and veggie burritos, and -- best of all -- desserts: flan with raspberry sorbet, crepes with bananas-strawberries-chocolate-Grand Marinier, and tequila mousse with mango sorbet and Grand Marinier sauce. TRIPLE YUM!!

Tonight (Friday) I get to be Mrs. City Manager at a semi-formal country club dinner. I have no idea what's on the menu. I DO know that it's a LONG evening of small talk and "pressing the flesh"....

Tonight I have a date. It is our first date and I am very nervous. (We just met last Saturday night out at the club) But, have been talking to him on the phone everyday since. I know we are doing dinner and a movie. Just not sure where we are going out to eat tonight. Probably Lonestar or Outback.

A bowl of Frosted Mini Wheats and an Orange Creme Savers yogurt. Yes, I know it seems like breakfast...but what the heck...I like to be out of the ordinary every now and then. :)
