As promised, but a bit late, here is the update.
Firstly, I applied for my first job today at Aldi's which is FINALLY coming to Florida. They will be opening up two stores in my area. Now all I can do is hope I get the job.
Secondly, I went over to the college this morning and wanted to check on my FinAid to see if it was going anywhere and I also wanted to renew my student ID, which expires in August. I came out 0 for 2. For some reason I was still listed and still had a hold on me for Early Admissions because my HS (Dixie) hadnt sent my transcript over, which I requested to be done in May. Dixie these days cant get anything right. Well, I am not awaiting the transfer to degree seeking from Dual-NO (early Admissions) status. FinAid cant do anything with Bright Futures, either of my scholarships, grants, or anything else in the department. Then I asked where security was because they have been moving it numerous times, and the lady told me that I cant get my ID until Dixie sends the transcript and it clears. Arg! About the only thing I did get was the new catalog, which was changed barely from last year.

Just an update on the Wizarding World of Harry Potter Island at Islands of Adventure...
http://www.universalorlando.com/harrypotter/ (click on gallery) There is a new concept art with the release of the name of the new restaurant...Three Broomsticks...and the location which is inside of the village of Hogsmeade. IF you notice several of the kids are holding wands which may hint to one of the other new attractions. Also the date for the grand opening has been pushed back
to 2010!
Universal Dubailand has also had its groundbreaking! The entire park is expected to be built by 2010, which if that happens will be a miracle.
Universal Singapore is also well on its way announcing they will have several attractions unique to Singapore including a new Jurassic Park ride unlike the one in Orlando, a new stunt show, a much bigger/better mummy (arg lol), and a dragon themed coaster.

Re: Fact789's Blog
I have a challenge for everyone!
This month I challenge everyone to get out there and get some exercise! No matter what you do, it will all count. Your goals dont have to be as high or as low as mine, but the point is to do something.
My Goal:
60 miles of walking/running out of the normal life
1200 pushups
2000 situps
1000 crunches
600 lunges/squats
If anyone wants to join me post your goal here and get moving. You have until the 31st of August to complete your goal. I will be posting what I have done at the end of each week. Good luck!

More School news:
Well I went down to SPC today, and found out that they did not receive my transcript (surprise!) after almost an hour of sitting there. So I went down to Dixie and knocked em upside their heads, took the transcript from them, took it back to SPC and turned it in. As of about an hour ago, my status was finally changed to degree seeking. I got my ID renewed, and let me tell you what. I took a new picture and it doesnt have a black eye and it doesnt look like I got mugged. lol Mucho better! Hopefully all financial aid will go through tomorrow or next week.

One more thing to add. When I got my official transcript, they also gave me an extra copy. I estimated that I had a GPA of 3.6, weighted GPA of 4.25, and a class rank of 14. I found out that I really have a GPA of 3.6377 and a weighted GPA of 4.3043 with a class rank of 9/360. That means I plowed through 5 people from the time I entered my Senior Year. wow! Top 10 people and top 3% of my class! Never would have thought in Freshman year when I was 100 something.

Re: Fact789's Blog-HONORS COLLEGE!!!!
I had to call (and wait an hour and 3 mins) Financial Aid at SPC because my fee count isnt going anywhere. They said they havent event started to see any grants/bright futures/scholarships/anything else coming in. The lady said they have had about 500 calls/walk ins today so far about the same thing.
Its cringing time. Im gonna call back on Wednesday and Friday.
