...and don't forget your constants either, Shannon... lest you lose points when integrating and forgetting to add the "+C" ;)

ahhh... how I *fondly* look back on those days of sweating over trig substitutions, partial fractions, and integration by parts... ;)

(inside math joke... don't worry if you don't get it... it's totally a geek thing :D)

Yes... I would gladly volunteer my services as a math tutor to anyone who desires... though I am sure that pojo would be a good helper too. :)

Well... time to go brush more snow off the car...

I'll see you all in the morning...

My professor just reminds us about it. But for the midterm...it is a must.

I've been in her office a few times because Differential Equations are about 20 miles above my head (thankfully, she put it in a way that I can understand some of it now...just in the knick of time...I have a midterm on Thurs afternoon). Trig subs and integration by parts is what we are working on right now. I understand that...its just the differential that I can't comprehend.

Its just a calculus thing.

gator wrote: Yes... I would gladly volunteer my services as a math tutor to anyone who desires... though I am sure that pojo would be a good helper too. :)
I have to do that a lot! My step-sister is a junior in HS and she has a math level of a 7th grader...so pre-alg is what she is currently working on...there are many times that I have to "help" her out. Layman's terms works wonders with her!

Garrett...you'll probably fry your brain if you even step foot into my calc class! My semester is hard enough with classes...next semester will be 10x worse!

Off to study calc and then I'll hit the sack.

I wish I took some advanced math in high school... but I wasn't given the chance, apparently.

Enjoy your trips, Isobar and Gator.

Morning everyone! :)

Whew...we had quite a night last night. We first went to the park and ate supper and then we went and fed the ducks. We were going to go to the movies, but Darla wanted to see Chicago and it wasn't playing here.

It is already in the 60's here. Looks like a great Thursday!

Have a great day!

Hey everyone,

It's Been Awhile since I've visited the front porch ... absolutely perfect weather today ... 80º for a high today with a nice breeze from the WSW ranging from 10 - 20 mph.

Sooner or later, I will get around to updating the website again ...

Math, not one of my strong suits!! *sigh* All the math talk hath made me dizzy!!! Well, just in time for my day off, the weather went from fabulous to blah! Still hoping for a rumble of thunder tonight though!

To all of those who have chocolates, pm me and I will give you my address!

OH! BTW, remember my little car dent from last weekend? My uncle estimated my car today: $200? Try again, how about $1100!!!! :o I was stunned, but he showed me quite a few things I didn't notice, plus foreign parts are more expensive! Bet that guy will think before he gets behind the wheel drunk again!!!

Well, off to grab some dinner but I will be around.....unless of course there is an isolated storm nearby, then I think you all know where I'll be (in my S2K shirt!!) Have a good evening y'all!

Howdy everyone!

Ya know.....I am SOOOOO SICK of the wind :grr: Yet another day of 50+ MPH wind gusts and more of the same tomorrow :grr: AH WELL, it's spring, it's like this every year, you'd think I'd be use to it by now!

Worked my 2 hours today in the wind  came home, sat and watched more news, I don't know what's gonna happen, y'all think Saddam is gonna unleash his chem weapons? I DO!

Got the lawn mowed today, not ME, Chris.......so nice having a young man around to do all the donkey labor :D There is nuthin better than the smell of fresh cut grass, my lawn looks better now than it did ALL of last year, all that snow helped.

Not much else going on, so I shall bid y'all a good night and as always, "May The Good Lord Bless and Keep You!"

Does any one have ice skates. I have my speedskating skates at home in Menasha, but that will not help. It is impossible to walk outside even with metal cleets on! Its been freezing rain/sleet all day today! I scraped my car for about a 1/2 hour that way I could get the 1" of ICE off the windows!!! Yes, 1" of ICE! Unfortunately, the Green Bay Y's did not cancel the lessons, so it was fun driving in the ice! Winter Storm watches are up for the rest of the night into tomorrow morning.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GREEN BAY WI
1215 PM CST THU APR 3 2003

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH-CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST
WISCONSIN.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

AN ICE STORM WARNING HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR NORTH CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST WISCONSIN THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...ROUGHLY NORTH OF A LINE FROM MERRILL TO MARINETTE. A MIXTURE OF FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET WILL MIX WITH AND EVENTUALLY CHANGE OVER TO SNOW TONIGHT...THEN DIMINISH. SIGNIFICANT ICE ACCUMULATIONS AROUND ONE HALF INCH ARE POSSIBLE IN THE WARNING AREA.

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORIES HAVE BEEN POSTED FARTHER SOUTH...ACROSS ALL OF CENTRAL AND EAST CENTRAL WISCONSIN. THESE AREAS WILL HAVE PERIODS OF FREEZING RAIN...BUT ICE ACCUMULATIONS SHOULD GENERALLY REMAIN LESS THAN ONE QUARTER INCH. THE PRECIPITATION WILL MIX WITH SLEET AND SNOW BEFORE TAPERING OFF LATER TONIGHT.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. SOME OF THE STRONGER STORMS MAY PRODUCE HAIL UP TO ONE HALF INCH IN DIAMETER.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

ANOTHER LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL SHIFT THROUGH ILLINOIS LATER FRIDAY INTO FRIDAY NIGHT. THE LATEST FORECAST INFORMATION SUGGESTS THAT THIS STORM MAY PRODUCE A BAND OF 3 TO 6 INCHES OF SNOW ACROSS CENTRAL... NORTHEAST AND EAST CENTRAL WISCONSIN. A THIRD SYSTEM IS FORECAST TO
AFFECT THE REGION LATE SUNDAY INTO MONDAY. THIS STORM MAY ALSO SOME BRING SOME ACCUMULATING SNOW TO THE REGION...ALTHOUGH CURRENT TRENDS SUGGEST THE HEAVIEST AMOUNTS WILL REMAIN TO OUR SOUTH.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTERS WILL BE NEEDED THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT FOR REPORTS OF SIGNIFICANT ICE OR SLEET ACCUMULATION. REPORTS OF HAIL ASSOCIATED WITH THUNDERSTORMS SHOULD ALSO BE RELAYED TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE.

Hello everyone.

Well, it's raining in my area this morning on a bus ride to school, the only danger of this storm was cloud to ground lightning.
