Okay, guys. I've told Mary that I am not sure from week-to-week if I will get to see LOST or not. So if I do not get to see it tonight, I will be looking for a complete update tomorrow!

Well, I am Sun it looks like.

The Which Lost Character Are You Test
by ack_attack
Sun

"Do you think all this, all we've been through... do you think we're being punished?"

You are Sun. You are very, very kind, but also very secretive. You have not shown much bravery as of yet, but you are growing more and more bold with each day that passes. Don't let the others push you around! You're your own woman! R-E-S-P-E-C-T, sister! And hey, if things don't work out with Jin, I'm sure Michael wouldn't mind taking you out for dinner and a movie.

Your polar opposite is: ironically, Jin. You are similar to: Claire and Walt.

Hehehe... I wish I knew. lol I think it probably came from the questions about how I keep my business to myself and only share with the closest friends. Oh, and maybe the fact that I have a body in my basem... oops! I guess the secret's out. (jk by the way)

FYI:

With I-tunes 6.0, you can download Lost the day after it airs on ABC. The downloads will cost $1.99 and be commerical-free. You will be able to watch the episode using I-tunes or once the new iPod is released at the end of the year, you load them onto your iPod.

Other ABC shows available for download will be Desperate Housewives and Nightstalker.

ETA: I checked I-Tunes and the first three episodes are available

My husband is such an avid Mac user. He was just telling me about this new way to purchase shows. My only suggestion was not to let our oldest daughter who is off to college, use this option. There goes your budget!!! She already buys a few songs here and there on iTunes. They do add up. But at least it's honest.

Okay Lost addicts.....start a postin'!!!!

I thought last night's episode was great. I half expected Michael/Jin/Sawyer to hook up with the rest of the group. It was about time we saw most of the group - Claire, Charlie, the baby, Sun. The backstory on Hurley was great. We especially liked his friend.

But we cannot stand Ana Lucia. We almost forwarded past the part where Sawyer wouldn't come out of the hole. Did you all catch is last word before commercial break - scene cut to black, all he said was - biotch! Loved it. She is nasty, nasty. Makes Shannon look like a saint. And Kate too! At least Kate has compassion for others, even if her past is very shady. This Ana Lucia seems to care for no one.

And Rose's husband - wasn't that the best part?!!! I had goose bumps when he came up to them.

Question, where do you think Ana L. and her group, are when the show ended? Somewhere underground, near where Jack and Sayid were looking?

Hurley passing out food was heartwarming to see. Especially the Peanut Butter scene. If Charlie hasn't completely falling in love with Claire yet, he has by now!

Had to laugh at Jin speaking English. You just knew it wasn't possible!!! LOL

Next........

Mary

PS - Sunny, let me know if you didn't see it. I'll PM you a summary.......

:D I love dishing about Lost with you all!! First, the peanut butter scene with Claire and Charlie..sooooo romantic. I was hoping for their first kiss, but to my dismay no such luck. Maybe next week.

It was nice to see some humor -Hurley and his friend "writing" on their boss' lawn! 8-) So funny. I was wondering what Hurley's "issue" was (besides the overeating) and I think I'm going to enjoy that story line. I hope they expand on the friendship between him and Charlie.

As for Ana Lucia, I wouldn't mind if she got killed off somehow -I so enjoyed Sawyer saying "mean lady"!! I can't stand her, which is a compliment to the actress who portrayed her so well!! I really hope she gets knocked down a few pegs, though. You're right, Mary. I think Kate just got mixed up with the wrong crowd and is a good person who's done bad things. This woman is making everyone look better to me -including Shannon. Even though Shannon is self centered, Sayid seems to bring out the best in her and so does the dog she's taking care of! I don't think anyone could bring out the best in Ms. Thang Ana!! :grrr:

I'm sure that the groups are literally a sound proof wall away from each other, but still can't figure out what's going on with Walt. Bring Walt back!!! :) I can't wait until he's reunited with his dad and dog. Same goes for Jin and Sun.

Finally, Rose's husband by far stole the show! The tears in his eyes - he wouldn't have had to say any more than that. Can't wait for next week!

Yes, great show indeed last night. I have to say I was surprised to see Roses husband, I thought it was gonna be the ring leader of that crowd, the black fellow, that would have made to much sense for LOST though. Can't wait till she gives them the candy bar she saved in her pocket. I can't wait for everyone to reunite. And what did the other group mean when they said there WERE twenty something that survived in the back of the plane? How did they die, or did they die.

I loved Hurleys background this week as well. And for him to finally be able to pass out the food was great!

I think when the two crowds meet up that that Ana Lucia will get a rude awakening.....I hope. I hope they don't end up taking over everyone in both groups. I think it is about to get real interesting with the access to the stock pile of the guns they have now. Maybe they will be able to pick her off before she gets them. She is definitly a mean and nasty gal.

I have a feeling Hurley may just not put the right numbers into that computer on one of his shifts. And I wonder when the others in his group will put the two together. Jack, and Loche know about those #'s as well, the night they were trying to blow open the hatch, when Hurley tried to stop them after seeing the #'s on the hatch. And where is the woman in the woods that also agreed to Hurley in last season those #'s are bad luck. I think she will resurface here soon. So many questions.LOL. Thats why we can't wait for the next week. :D

Just had a thought....you know how the main group looks to Jack to be their leader? And that he's never wanted this job? Well, this Ana chick seems to thrive on being in charge. She'll see a weakness in Jack and try to take over. More fireworks. Jack will be forced once again to be their leader.

Elle - you're right about Shannon. The dog and Sayid seem to have mellowed her out a bit, given her a purpose on the island.

That would have been a perfect time for a Charlie/Claire kiss. Maybe that will happen when they're alone though. And whoa, she's skinnny again. That was fast!!! LOL

Last night as the show progressed, both my daughter Laura kept speaking outloud. When Charlie asked for the PB, I said for a nursing mother and what does he say, the same thing. Or when Sayid was helping investigate the power source, I said I like Sayid, the same exact time Laura says it. I swear when Sawyer calls Ana a mean lady, we said it too - that mean lady! It was getting a little freaky, we kept predicting what all they'd say or we were having the very same thoughts.

I've really caught up now!!!!

Whew. Just watched last night's episode (we had to tape it). Wow! I loved when Hurley was handing out the food, but I almost had tears when Bernard came up to Michael. That was just awesome! I have to wonder what happened to Walt too though. I mean, who are the guys that took him? Where are they now??? And with this new group in another bunker thing, it makes me wonder if they're on another part of the island or what. Remember in the orientation movie, the director guy said that they were in the Swan (I think it was). That has to mean there are other bunkers out there. It makes me wonder if they have a computer in this one too and a button to push....?

Aaaaahhhhh....can't wait till next week :)

I loved last night's episode. I thought the part with Sun burying the notes was so sad along with Rose's husband asking about her.

My prediction is that the underground "thing" that Jin/Michael/Sawyer and the rest of the people are in is what is beyond the wall of concrete that Sayid and Jack can't get to.

Oh by the way... thought this was really interesting. We were sitting in debate class today and one of my debaters was running a case about theory of the social contract and how people in their natural state are inherently evil. Therefore, we must give up some rights in order for protection and survival. Guess which philosopher that was??? John Locke!!! It hit me like a ton of bricks. I couldn't believe when that dawned on me.

Just a little something to put out there for you.

Garrett - wow, that hit me too, like a ton of bricks. Another connection.....to what though?

Laura asked me what the Chernobyl comment meant. So I had to fill her in on that tragedy. She said whoa, kids my age probably didn't know what that meant.

Just went to TV Guide and saw a breaking news story - the actor who plays Sawyer, was robbed! He and his wife, middle of the night, awakened by a robber. How awful for them.

HOLLOWAY, WIFE ROBBED: Lost star Josh Holloway and his wife, Yessica Kumula, were robbed at gunpoint in their Honolulu home on Wednesday morning. The intruder entered the couple's house, rousted them out of bed, stole cash and credit cards and then sped off in Holloway's Mercedes-Benz, which was found abandoned shortly afterwards. Local police have yet to release any details on the robbery.

new theory,

Walt is the evil one on the island

He seemed to lead the group right toward the others, didnt want the hatch opened when it contained food and a nice shower, plus places to sleep.

something about him that really needs to be watched

Okay, I've avoided the thread because I didn't get to see the show on Wednesday night - I just caught the rebroadcast!!

I'm confused about something. I thought Rose's husband died in like the second episode on the island? I'm going and look at the DVDs of the first season now - my niece bought them for me!

I love Charlie and Claire together - they are just so cute!! That Ana Lucia really likes hitting Sawyer though, doesn't she?!

Sunny - flashbacks of moments before the crash, show Rose in her seat. An empty seat between them, Jack is in the one next to the empty one (Bernards's). I think Rose gripps the arm rest when their first warning of turbulance occurs. Jack smiles over at her. She fingers that necklace. Mentions her husband and explains he's in the bathroom, wishing he'd hurry up. Have no idea which episode that is on though.

I went online to determine which Lost episodes we are missing since ABC skipped them this summer. We are missing 7, seven can you believe that? Each and every one is important too....dang. Claire's backstory and visit with the psychic, important details from that episode continue to be mentioned on a Lost board. Next we're missing several in between when Claire was taken and then returns. We just figured there might be one episode in between, there are 3! What was ABC thinking, that we didn't need to see these episodes. We're missing all the Boone/Locke scenes at the hatch. We saw one episode where the flashight falls on it. The next hatch scene we saw, was after they had excavated all around it. Laura and I both said - whoa, they've been busy! Finally we're missing Kate's important backstory, saw part of it early on but not the bank robbery and boyfriend dying scenes.

Next stop was at Blockbuster. We need to rent 4 discs at over $4 each, to see all of these episodes. I stood there contemplating what to do. I know that's a waste of money, since I can purchase the first season thru Amazon for $38. But that doesn't include shipping.

I might ask for it from the xmas name exchange in my husband's family. But we'd have to wait until Dec. 26 to watch them!

Decisions...decisions....if my fingers type in Amazon and suddenly I am purchasing the DVDs hitting that buy now button, try and tell my husband how addicting this show is, will ya? LOL It is SO temting....

Does anyone own the first season on DVD yet? Is it worth it?
