Yes Annette is asking for a Margarita!!!! She's gonna need it too - with her move coming up and all.

LOL!!!

Me? I'm just trying to juggle so much, with my two wacky anal like neighbors. Both husbands compete with eachother it seems like to me - it's a dizzying display of lawn cutting, mulching, weeding, whatknot. Well, the one pays for everything to be done for him except for firing up his mower (but when his landscaper shows up, he has to oversee the work!). The other does it all himself. But they face eachother. Meahwhile, I have thoughts of oh say that Malcolm in the Middle family/lawn care. I want to scream - eh, screw 'em.......I'll cut my grass when I can get to it!!! It does not help one bit that my husband has zero interest in this area. He sees these two goofy husbands tripping over their own feet outside and shakes his head. I want to scream! LOL Yeah, visions of a condo lifestyle are looking sweeter and sweeter. I had such an interest in lawn care and weeding, in my younger days. Now you know why I love Winter so much - I don't have to put up with these 2 nuts then. he he

Okay, enough for my neighbor rants this morning. Could be worse I guess - I could be living next door to a dump, huh?

Yes, pojo, please make me that margarita.... 10 days left for YOU...woohooo!
On a second note, I'll make me and YOU a margarita! CHEERS, gal! :37:

LOL, Mary, you need to freak out your neighbors and put something in your yard like
a big Buddha statue. And, let your grass grow tall before you cut it. Then - laugh and laugh
at the looks that you'll get from your neighbors! Get one of those lawnmowers that don't make
noise - that don't run off of gas (*see your Improvements catalog) - and watch them stand in
the yard, scratch their heads, and, try to figure out what the neighbor is all about!
Take it from the rascal, here - plus, it's fun to freak them out!

Is it April, already? LOL, I'm still waiting for the needed "repairs" to be done in the
house that I am moving into. YAAAAAAAAAWWWNNN....

In the meantime, I've done a bit more on boxing things up, and, tonight, I'm
waiting on a line of severe storms to roll through, so, forget packing - I'm watching
the weather!

Wow this year is going by fast! It went by too slow when I was in school. NOT FAIR!! Oh well my first day of working at Mitsubishi/Hyundai was totally wonderful but man im tired. Im used to doing nothing all day at Dodge so this is a change of pace. But the money is great, hours are terrific, and its only 20 miles a day compaird to 60, and Im working for my favorite car company. Well it rained again today for about 15 mins: big rain drops too. I hope we get some storms tonight. Its just nice to listen to the rain and thunder. Well im gonna enjoy my chicken breast strips and finish watching Americal Idol then prolly head off to bed a bit after or maybe just listen to XM radio while I clean. Oh well, Im a shocked to see the predicitons from Dr. Gray this year just for the fact they seem high (well, as of right now). AHH stop showing Sanj on tv. Well im gonna go, have fun everyone! :D

Easter..

#308 Postby alicat » Sat Apr 07, 2007 9:18 pm

Well, it's April..it's going to be the coldest Easter since 1930-something..the heater in my car doesn't work..my boyfriend's in Guatemala for a month learning spanish..and frankly, I'm starting to lose my sense of humor pretty quickly.. :grrr: But, still, I should remember the things I'm thankful for on the night before Easter..a warm winter coat, a great support system, and the fact that my car still actually runs well..sort of.. <knocking on wood> and we don't have any snow anymore.. Anyway...happy Easter to all of you..Leaving hot tea on the stove for anyone who wants it..

I woke up Saturday morning to a nice dusting of snow (yes back home)..... and chilly temperatures.

I made it safely back to Little Rock with several bags of cheese curds (for my instructors) and miracously.... a glass 6 pack of Spotted Cow beer (New Glarus Brewing Company)! I'm happy now!!!!!!!!!! Not to get greedy... but you enjoy things more when you have them taken away for a period of time. :) :) :)

OK, I'm sittin' here on the Front Porch.

There's a cool, brisk wind, and the green landscape has turned brown from the freeze.

I'm wearing a jacket, wishing that someone would light that outdoor fire pit for warmth!

We DO have an outdoor firepit out here, don't we?

Oooooh! That fire feels so good, Shannon - thanks! Hopefully the temps will
moderate to more seasonal temps, but, for now - (*shivering) I'm leaving a
BIG pot of coffee on for everyone who's interested!
