I knew someone was going to say the DVDs/first season are worth it. I just knew it!

Boy did you confirm that fast sunny!!!

Tell me, are the 11 deleted scenes good too? I heard one shows Claire at the airport. I just love her character, so sweet, the nicest of them all I think. Next to maybe Sun.

What are your thoughts on Ana Lucia? Do you want her with Sawyer or Jack? Or no one? I'd like her to team up with the Monster, is who I want her with. She is a nasty one. Wish Sawyer would manhandle her, knock some sense into her. Can't believe I feel that way too!

I was kind of disappointed in the deleted scenes, they were maybe two minutes at most! But the one of Claire at the airport was cute. She is just a doll!!

I want to see Ana Lucia with Sawyer - talk about fireworks!! I don't like her character, but Sawyer won't take her "manhandling" ways! I am curious to see how the two groups of survivors will get on once they meet up. Power play, maybe?

Here's what I predict when they all get back together.

Sawyer/Kate - he'll gravitate towards her, thinking whew, she's cute, she's not mean like that chick Ana is. She'll feel safe to Sawyer. Which will make Ana Lucia jealous.

Ana/Jack - she'll detect he's the leader but never really wanted to be in that role. She'll offer to step up and take over. Say no more kinda thing. She'll take Jack by surprise and his hesitance will mean he's okay with this plan - new Pres on the island everyone. But she'll tick the whole group off, naturally. Since she's so nasty. There will be a re-vote, Jack will be who everyone wants as their leader. They'll never question anything he ever asks of them again, if he'll just oust that Ana/Hitler chick. Jack will reluctantly take over, she'll be LIVID, he'll try to say I'm sorry. She'll feel like an outsider and that's when Sawyer saunders on up - welcome to the club, biotch!

That leaves Jack and Kate, to really take a good, long hard look at eachother. And maybe a shower together...no, getting way ahead of myself here. LOL But they will finally admit they have feelings for eachother, late season, but first Ana and Sawyer will get in the way. A lot.

You don't think Sawyer would think Ana Lucia a challenge? Want to tame her and all? I think the same with Ana Lucia and Jack - she will see Jack as a challenge.

I definitely see a power struggle between Jack and Ana Lucia. I just hope they don't end up together! I like Jack and Kate together - they belong together. But I think you are right - Sawyer and Ana Lucia will get in the way of that A LOT.

Yeah I do think Ana will be a challenge to Sawyer. And fireworks will continue to fly until they're all together. But I also think he'll want some distance from her and want Kate's company for a while. A breather from Ana's sweetness - Not!

Ditto...I hope Jack and Ana don't get together.

But here's what Laura says - opposites attract. Sawyer and Ana have huge chips on their shoulders and we haven't seen Ana's backstory yet, you watch, it will be coming soon. Ugh, can you say - break time for a snack, Laura want some popcorn, snoooze fest, etc. - LOL. No I guess her backstory will be important, we do need to know why she is so nasty. Maybe she, Bernard and the rest of their group saw the 'others' eat some of the original 23 tail section surivors. Ewwww! Long story short, I'm good at those, Sawyer and Ana are just to similar to get along enough to fall for eachother. They will fight it bigtime.

Kate and Jack - they belong together though.

Question, since the writers have given away details for upcoming shows, has anyone heard when the two groups will reunite? Just curious if that's next week, a few weeks or November sweeps?

I haven't heard when the two groups will "unite". Can't wait though

Sometimes certain people just belong together. That is Jack and Kate for sure! Charlie and Claire as well.

OMG - wouldn't it be a hoot if Hurley and Ana Lucia got together :eek:

Hurley and Ana....mmmm, he does need a romantic interest. That could work. He could tell her he's rich and she'd say - yeah, right buddy....is anyone going to ever believe he won the lotto? LOL

They're all pairing up......Laura keeps saying the main romance she cares about is Charlie and Claire. She really wants to see that progress. Uh, you know he's seen her nursing Aaron. Only a matter of time I say.... ;-)

!!! Nothing like a sweet scene like that to seal the deal. I think he's already head over heels....we just need to get Claire head over heels for Charlie!

Well the Ana Lucia scene in the season finale in the flashback with Jack she was nice enough then. I don't know what has happened to change her though.

No, I don't think Sun won't leave Jin for Michael. Their farewell parting was very touching, heartbreaking. When he returns to the group, I think they'll start their marriage over. On even ground, 50/50. Unlike it was before.

Garrett - you're right, Ana didn't seem this mean in the airport bar. Had an edge to her, but not to this extreme.

I think we are meant to hate her!

Different enviroments bring out different personalities in people. Ana Lucia had no reason to be hateful and aggresive in the flashback scenes. But now living on a island and it being every man for themselves, as it seems in that group more so than the main group, then she has to bust out that nasty aggresive personality she has always had. Most people like that don't go around acting like that all the time. Usually they save it for when needed. If that group has been actually eating the others in their group then maybe it was act that way and be aggresive or die. Makes sense to me.

I agree Mary on the Jin and Micheal relationship as well. They were on their way to starting over when Micheal left on the boat.

Mary, did you get to see the episodes of Claire and the psychic? The first one was so good. If you have't seen them you really need to. And you deffinatley need to see all the episodes you are missing. Like you said each one is important. But I think you need the whole season and start from the beginning again. The order in which watched makes for better viewing and remebering of what happened. It can get confusing if watched out of order. Last season they would skip a week or two and show repeats for that time, oh that used to kill me. Make us wait a week or two for a new episode. I don't think they thought it would be such a hit and didn't have enough scripts wriiten or something. But I found it confusing when they would show repeats for a week or two and then go back where they left off. Can you imagine having to wait another week or two to see the next episode???? I am so glad they are not pulling that on us this season.

O Town - we saw every episode up to #10, the one with Claire and the psychic. From there they seem to jump around - #12, #13, then #15, #19, etc. All together ABC intentionally skipped seven episodes in re-airing the first season.

I stood there at Blockbuster, hoping we could bunch a few of these together, but #10 is on a disc we've seen #1-9 of. Dang!

It was going to be over $20 in charges to rent these missing episodes.

That's when I asked if we could purchase the missing episodes at only $1.99 each. That's $14.00 but another option too.

I just know I'm gonna break down and buy the DVDs.....if our Visa balance wasn't high with recent very expensive car repair bills, they'd be purchased and we'd be watching them already!

Does anyone know the cheapest instore price you can find? Target wanted $50. Same with Wal-mart. While amazon wanted $38, w/o shipping.

If I could find them for under $40, that would be a deal!

Here's another potential option....hubby and I have Netflix which I absolutely love! I pay 1 price each month and can rent/watch as many movies as we want during that month. We got the full 1st season and were able to watch it before this season started. The reason I say it might be an option is because you can select the discs that you want to receive. There are 3-4 episodes per disc so it's an easy way to catch up. If you get the 3 disc at a time deal (what we have) you could catch up real quick.

If you're interested (check it out at netflix.com), PM me your e-mail addy, and I can send you a coupon thingy to redeem there - not sure if it gives a full month free or a couple weeks, but it helps

I can't wait for this weeks episode. I missed out on the first Jin/Sun episode last year. I think it was the 5th or 6th episode. I hope this one is good

I haven't used any online purchasing site besides amazon but thanks so much for the half price site. I will check into it. I appreciate the info about Netflex but overall, we don't want to obligate ourselves into a deal like that. I know you can just rent a few a month but right now, we have a lot of regular weekly shows we watch. Occasionally we rent a movie or buy it on PPV. More than that and I'd never get anything done around here....LOL Besides, just found a job so I'll be hopefully starting that next week (cafeteria sub in our local school district, once my tests, paper work are all taken care of). I'll have to limit my computer time too!

Anyway back to Lost. I love this show. Saw promo's on Desperate Housewives last night for this Wed. show. That's when you wish Wednesday would hurry up! I want the two groups together, Jin/Sun back together, Walt found safe and sound, so much. And for someone to smack that Ana Lucia and put that broad in her place. LOL
