hey thanks for that alicia i was to lazy to look for any lpg usage in the USA, i thought i would just ask! and most people that i do have no idea about it! like here most people know what its about!

Its something that we should try and use more of! i mean Australia's LPG is 80% naturally occuring! so if your using it on your car then your not going to be contributing to the use of oil! Your site says about the UK use of it droping since 1980 cus of the heavier duty on it!......Australia is putting a tax on lpg in 2011 of 12cents per litre so thats like 40cents/gallon! i think its such a bad idea! like if the world is in such a oil crisises why is the governments being so greeedy and making alternative fuels look worse.....all thats going to do is stop people from changing to them!

I mean our paper said today that by the end of the year oil could be over $100 US a barrel! they said about plastics, transport, food packaging, (wich will send food prices through the roof!) drugs and all that stuff going up! it could send the country into a recession!

Just did some checking here when I was out yesterday, the average seems to be between $3.20 and $3.25 a gallon for the regular and $3.40 and $3.45 a gallon for the high octane gases.

Depends on what the company bought their gas at. It may not be reflected at the pump yet.

Here at least, prices are allowed to be changed only when they refill the the storage tanks at the gas station. Hopefully they'll drop!

I saw it for 2.81 today ( May 2 ). which is actually down about 8 cents from two weeks ago, although the price of crude has gone up. Anything lower would be better, but if the barrell price is going up then what is the deal? Maybe the pressure on the oil companies and their soaring profits are getting too much attention these days. I think the whole thing just stinks.

Gas prices really too good to be true

By DAN RONAN / WFAA ABC 8

WEATHERFORD, Texas - As oil prices rapidly rise, some gas stations can't keep up with the price signage.

Although many people may have thought they found a golden gas station where prices appeared to drop by $2.00 a gallon looking at the sign; the reality was the station off of Interstate 20 in Weatherford wasn't prepared for gas prices to rocket above $3.00.

The gas station, along with several others owned by the same company, didn't have the right signage for the new price of gas.

And the last time fuel was below 80 cents, the price displayed on the station's sign, was in 1987 when Ronald Reagan was president.

One driver said he wouldn't mind time warping back to the price of gas a couple decades ago.

"That would be really good, so long as the income did not match it as well," said Randy Gibb, truck driver.

The company that owns the truck stop said it's trying to repair all its signs in a matter of months, but said there's no problem changing the price on the pumps. The pumps display can go as high as $9.99 a gallon.

While that price isn't likely, some drivers said they are anticipating higher prices.

"I think it will be more than $4.00 before summer is over," said Rodney Murphy.

The owner's of the Weatherford gas station couldn't display the correct gas price after the new oil price increase.

BTW, the cheapest gas price here in Irving is a cent below the national average.

perhaps some releif in sight within a couple of weeks. Looks like light sweet crude just went below the 70$/barrel mark.
