Yeah, such an emotional song, reminds me of some terrible days heh. Mustaine, so underrated as a guitarist and songwriter.

And post Cliff Metallica can't touch what they did with him. Master of Puppets is one of the great metal albums ever.

Agreed. Eddie Trunk, on his show on XM/Sirius, stated that he thought Death Magnetic was better than And Justice For All. NO WAY. Not even close. I still can not get myself to buy that CD. I am not sure why. I am still under the thinking that the guitars ( James Hetfield's maybe) are detuned. St Anger was a steaming pile of noodles. I hate it. Load was ok and Reload was atrocious. I love all of Megadeth's CDs except for Risk. They wanted to go pop and failed. Endgame, their latest is just absolutely the best.

Well what I think of St. Anger is much worse than that, but this is a family channel, so I shall keep it at noodles. I have listened to the CD once. It was so bad, ( Lars banging on tin cans, James sounding like he was torturing a cat, no guitar solos from Kirk, therapy sessions...goodness) I just could not do it anymore. James and Lars stating, "We had to make a CD like St. Anger to be where they are today". Really. Seriously? Whatever. I can say that I am hopeful the "Big 4" will tour in 2011 or 2012. It is really good for Megadeth and Metallica to be getting along. They both need each other.

The Beat Farmers: "Glad and Greasy"

The Liner Notes for the title song: "This zesty high-stepper's got a beat you can dance to and a theme you can float all the way down the gutter with."

I'm hooked on this newgrass artist (yeah, bluegrass is coming back...last thing I saw coming). Her name is Sarah Jarosz. She's only 18. Check her out.

Other than that, I've also been on a smooth jazz (Dave Koz, Jim Brickman) kick, a mix of indie bands of all genres, and Loretta Lynn. I don't know why. Heard lots of her music growing up and now I'm nostalgic. She has a new song out with Jack White of The White Stripes. I've got the weirdest tastes in music ever. Disturbed one minute, Loretta the next.

I have been running to The World Needs A Hero, the 2002 CD from Megadeth. Very good, actually.

I'm listening to a compilation album right now. One of the bands: Surf Trio. I'd describe them as "surf punkabilly."

I have been listening to Jim Reeves, Charlie Pride and Johnny Horton today and this evening. I grew up listening to country music when my peers were into Hard rock and other music. I am country to the core, being country when country isn't cool wasn't hard for me to do.
