I am afraid that the gas prices will keep rising and rising in the next few weeks as the Oil market closed on Friday above $104 a barrel.

I saw 3.38/gal here in Houston today. I haven't paid that much yet.

As high as $3.45 here. Tops I paid so far is $3.35 over at my work in Georgia.

It was $3.39 at Kroger last night, one of the better places to get gas. I got it for $3.29 with my Kroger card. Spring is such a busy time for me and I do so much more driving than any other time. Filling up more often, at a much higher price. pfft

Hubby wanted to top off the tank in the jeep, it was 3/4 and fill p the van (a little under half)
Wawa for the van-3.43/gal $53.00
Gulf for the jeep-3.43/gal 20.00 (and it didn't even click :eek:

)

What gets me is that on Wed I half to fill the jeep up again as by that time I will have driven over 300 miles, sigh. Very thankful that the van only gets driven on the weekends..locally, last time we put gas in that was a month ago.

Saw that in NJ it's at $3.19 still.

Well this is interesting, I had to get gas before I went on the turnpike this AM, the gulf station is now at $3.53, the last time I got gas for $50.00 its was 15.2 gals, today at $50 it was 14.1 gals :eek:

Gas actually went down 2 cents where I usually get my gas. :eek:

Should I hold out for lower prices or go fill up my tank while they're down a few cents? :?:

I filled up today... $3.40/gallon for regular unleaded at a Valero. Shell across the street was selling regular unleaded for $3.50/gallon.

Is ironic that there is good news as consequence of the Japan tragedy.You may ask why. As oil demand goes lower in Japan,oil prices have gone down below $100 a barrel.That will translate to a relief for drivers in the comming days.

We are back down to $3.34 from $3.39, at least in my neighborhood. Some stations in the more affluent areas are charging up to $3.67 for unleaded regular.
