It's been a rough few weeks...

Chat about anything and everything... (well almost anything) Whether it be the front porch or the pot belly stove or news of interest or a topic of your liking, this is the place to post it.

Since I've spent so little time here in the last month, I don't have any clue what any of you are talking about. But I just wanted to add that there have been times when I've posted something that has been deemed inappropriate; a quick note from Chad or Marshall has brought me to my senses and I've never taken offense by admonishment from them. I'm grateful to be allowed to be part of this Storm2K family. Let the season begin!

as a poster on both boards i think the most important thing is not to take things personally. i like both boards for different reasons. as far as s2k, i think the people here are very nice and enjoyable to chat with.

It's good to see things being mended. This has been a rough time for some people but we will get through it and still be the great board we've always been, a place you can post about the weather or other topics without fear of getting flamed, and a place where you find good company with great friends. If I have ever offended anyone in any way, I apologize. I mistakenly tried to stop the board wars somewhere else and it wasn't received well by those who fuel the fire. I should have just ignored them but I naively thought I could help stop the bashing by using logic. It didn't work and I learned my lesson.

Also, I apologize to Kevin for replying to Ticka on his board. I saw an opportunity to reply and tell the truth and I did. I should not have done it there though. I'm sorry.

How many days till Hurricane Season? :)

Kevin, I honestly thought (perhaps you and others don't believe me) you were snowlover. I thought you didn't want to besides weren't allowed to access or post here.

Chad and I have talked about the issues between us this evening and his account has been reinstated. We'll delete the snowlover account :-)

That's good. Someone who doesn't care to be here will post now?

Tempers were running high over the last week and people have said things they didn't mean on both sides. Adults work these things out and life goes on :-)

Kevin hasn't posted here for months. He hasn't "cared for the board," going back many months ago, which obviously was before any problems were taking place.

I appreciate you allowing him back. :)

Storm2k just doesn't fit me very well and I doubt I will post very often. But I appreciate Chad and Marshall unbanning me so I can still browse and post periodically.

Kevin - I see by now you have 72 posts but prior to recently, I had no idea you were a member here! Somehow I missed when you joined - so sorry. You know I would have welcomed you in a heartbeat - from our former TWC chat days and just from occasional IM's we had in the past!!!! And see I got your name correct, I have for quite some time now. LOL Seriously though, I'm glad you're reinstated and I just wanted to say - welcome from Miss Mary!

It sounds like you can't put your finger on what it is that doesn't fit you very well and/or rather not get into it. It is actually something I have been wondering about for quite a few months.

I can honestly say (hopefully not upsetting anyone), I am not posting here as often as I used to... a lot of things rolled into one, some I can put into words, others I don't want to and honestly can't.

Given your whopping post count, perhaps you're just a little burnt out on posting here. Mixing it up every now and then like you're doing now is healthy.

Thanks, Winni! :)

I got this high post count back when I was taking part in the "Fun & Games" forum some time ago. I was posting a lot less there about two months ago and haven't been taken part in that forum since.
