They better lower this crap soon. Im sick of paying $2.35 here for the cheapest in my area. By the way, food prices seems to be droping because of this.

Well, yesterday was a milestone that I would have preferred not to have celebrated. I finally had to fill up my car with gas that was over $2.00/gal. Oy! $2.02/gal at the local BP/Amoco was the absolute cheapest that I could find.

I was upset having to pay 1.82.9 the other day here in Houston. Haven't seen anything but an upward spiral on the prices here!!

$2.04 for mid-grade in central florida and definitely not ever gonna go down.
At least I doubt we'll ever see anything below $1.98 for mid-grade ever again.

Just no precedence for it.

I remember marvelling at how high the price was in Los Angeles in spring 1999...$1.75!

Just talked to a guy that's been a diesel user for at least 6 years and says it's really killing them. Used to be lower than regular. Not anymore!

Time to get serious about Hydrogen.

Yes, they probably got the tube to the Iraqi oil hooked-up.

Still $2 here...

They are $2.45 per gallon for the CHEAP stuff here just south of Los Angeles; and $2.60 or just slightly above per gallon for the expensive gas.

Yes! on hydrogen.

Time to make northern Mexico the next Middle East for solar-produced hydrogen...

(But don't expect it to be cheap)

Hey SF, I'm still not finding it any cheaper than 2.07. Direct from http://www.channelcincinnati.com/news/3822556/detail.html:

In Kentucky, in Florence, Ky., along KY18, you'll pay from $2.05 to $2.07. At Union on Highway 42, a few stations charged $1.99.

I'm just 2 minutes' walk from KY 18, I know what they're saying. I go past there by car every morning on the way to school.

This is not going to help whatever gains the economy has made. Wait until winter sets in! The economy will stagnate.
