Do you think having thread titles having proper spelling and capitalization a "statistic"?

Yes, I think it's a statistic and a great idea that you edit them on a regular basis.

Yes, I think it's a statistic, but it isn't necceasary to edit them on a regular basis.

No, I don't think it's a statistic, thus there is no reason to edit them on a regular basis.

I think it would be a cool statistic, but it wouldn't be worth your while. Being a grammar freak, it would be interesting, but I am probably one of the near 2000 people at Storm2k.org that would like it. I would love to see how many people use good instead of well (I did good... grr....), or for who instead for whom (Whom being an object of the preposition, and whom being a direct object unlike who). Besides, your other statistics are great already. Keep up the good work.

I don't think its a statistic, but i think you should edit them...bad spelling is annoying in titles.

I think we should just tar and feather (not with mine, thank you) those who flub up their topic titles. :)

Or tickle them...depending upon the topic.

I'm sure not in favor of correcting every post for grammatical correctness or misspellings. It would be cumbersome at least, and could change "intent" if changes were substantial.

Topic lines...well that's a little different. They reflect outwardly on the person originating the post. Out of respect, though, if you were going to make any changes I would let the author know via a PM that there is an error.

We learn a lot about each other in very many ways here. Who we are, the way we think, the care we take in our posts serve the job of letting us know more about each other, things we cannot tell because we rarely meet each other.

It would be a boring place for sure if everyone had their posts changed to a particular style.

A more interesting and appropriate stat than "who makes the most posts with mistakes?" might be "whose posts generate the most responses?"

This could simply be an average number measured to tenths.

Just a thought. Maybe that category already exists and I haven't seen it yet.

It would take a lot of time to let someone know they made an error in a the topic title.

It would be even worse/more impossible to figure out, "whose posts generate the most respones?"

Bingo! This is my point exactly...

I didn't mean to imply that it was 'literally a stat.' In a way, the closest things it could be CONSIDERED is a stat. If everyone disagrees with what they THOUGHT I was saying, then I would assume they would agree with my better explanation.

I was figuring out how to ask the question. There are plenty of times we don't work something correctly the same way. I try my best to go through my posts after reading them at least once to see how they came out.

We are unable to edit poll questions, so I can't fix it.
