There is a certain "magic" that comes but once a year; it has been too long since I have shared in it, but I would never rob my kids (or grandkids) of it.

HI! Gosh, I have been soo busy I haven't had time to pop into storm2k! I wanna thank everyone for sending in your addresses! Good job! We've starting pulling out all of our Cmas stuff...to date we have found 6 full sized over 6ft tall trees and 10 under 5 ft foot trees...I think we need therapy...seriously...lol. It'll never even begin to fit into this house in Cali. Keep sending those addresses...I promise oyu won't get a card from me before Thanksgiving...(Mary!)....have fun with the holidays and decorating.....

Shannon - the Christmas Diva mentioned little ole me! ME!!! LOL

I honestly don't think you're alone anymore. Christmas decorations and merch is everywhere. Now I'm hearing xmas music on the radio. Jim keeps saying we'd better not decorate yet!!!! One house nearby has wreaths/bows/greenery on windows, front door, lamp post, already. Good thing Jim didn't see that!!! I know there must be there people with decorations up already.

It wouldn't be a bad idea though to put up outdoor lights NOW, while it's above freezing. I don't have time though....dang!

I've already started inside, Mary. Got out my Christmas CD's and all. Not putting up a tree, though. Well a little 2 ft. one. Lots of candles and stuff that I made. Sister and I will go out shopping on the day after. :roll: :D
It will be extra special this year.

OK, so I broke down and put up two trees lastnight and the wreath....I have wreaths for every window on my old house, and they don't go with this house, (have funky shaped modern windows now)...so anyone need a wreath, just holler...I have 11 extras!
I am just doing my trees step by step...not finding all of the ornaments in the same box to match each themed tree...so they look bare and ugly right now with minimal oranments.

The neighbor across the street actually sat in her front yard and watched B hanging the lights and all my friends in the neighborhood have come over, shaking their heads, and asked if we're selling any of our Christmas stuff...lol...NO! We'll make it fit...somehow...

Mary...hope you get those lights hung! Most businesses around here have their holiday decor up also. It does seem to happen earlier and earlier...

Thanks to all who promptly sent in their addresses, one and two times :). I bought an address book just for my Christmas Card list so I'll have them all ready for next year! :) Its so nice to exchange cards with all you guys....

I too found your card Shannon!!! Hey, you win the prize for First Received Card in our family! Yes you beat our good friend who held the honor for years, until my sister-in-law beat her last year. And now you beat both of them! I know you were chomping at the bit too.....LOL

Seriously, it was so nice to get a card from my wx family/buds.....mine will come, we still need to take the photo and then they'll go out.
