first of all, j can borrow spandex from his wife, just in case you were wondering, it stretches really well.....umm, secondly, men aren't the only ones who like to watch the hotties driving the beer cart, i'm sure the women on the LPGA would prefer beer cart girls any day......over men in short shorts and spandex, and for those of us women who maintain our lives on the straight and narrow, i'd still rather see a woman driving the beer cart than you and pburgh in short shorts and spandex. i think though like i said before its the public sector vs the private sector, as far as exclusion rights go, and realistically, if sorensen is out for prize money, she has to legitamately know that her being second rated on the lpga for drives, puts her at about 165 or so on the mens list....so she definately has a disadvantage from the men, and if she intends to support herself.....financially, she better stick to the lpga.....as for fun and bragging rights......i think she's entitled.

katwood, I am a woman (who maintains her life on the straight and narrow) - a woman golfer who has never played golf with women, only men. As for the spandex and short shorts well that's another story. Besides the obvious disadvantages, I really think her short game leaves a lot to be desired no matter who she golfs.

j, cutoffs will work fine!!!! Steph, how's the nausea????

Take care
Karan

K ---you are slipping girl...but we'll cut you some slack this time.

Last I heard the little misses was 1 under and definitely holding her own.

Pburgh...now you know they don't allow cut-offs on the golf course. Us men have to look respectable. Now the cart girls....that's a different story. Ever notice how a group of men on the T box will get very antsy if the group ahead of them is spending too much time searching for lost balls, etc.. However...if they are stopped chatting with the cart girl while she digs in the ice box for the coldest of beers....all is forgven. It's all about respect....plus they know her next stop is with them!

Hey k...if I had know all it would take would be a mindless little post about golfing to get you posting...I would have done this a long time ago!!!!!!!

ps, i think the topic here shouldn't be whether women should be allowed to play on the men's golf circuit, i think it should be.....should men be allowed to wear spandex? what's your thought!!!!

forget the spandex...did you know the amount of beer a man drinks on the golf course is directly proportional to the amount of clothing the cart girl leaves in the dressing room?

exacly my point for spandex, some of them cart girls can be leaving quite a lot of clothing.....if its directly proportional to the amount of beer men drink on the golf course........

I'm always amazed to find someone who doesn't drink while they golf. I didn't think you were allowed on the course without a six pack. Kinda the same as soft spikes!!

what I want to know is with all your cruises and trips here and there, when does your hubby find time to play golf? I'm going to have to have a talk with Brian!
