Well, I'm in complete shock! Chad PM'ed me earlier today but I haven't had time to check the boards since then. Busy day.....daughter had dance recital, etc. Anyway, this is shocking to say the least. Had to laugh at some of the replies here - ditto on if you had cursed someone Chad, you wouldn't be banned. You'd still be able to access wx.com I'm sure. Their reasons for banning *offensive* posters (Chad and Stephanie do NOT make offensive posts) or what they call rule breakers are unbelievable. I just checked and my account is still active. I've only posted twice since Eric's able to post again. Find myself even wondering why I've checked the boards there.....old habits are hard to break I guess. I will say I always check Storm2K first now and sometime during the day, wx.com. Well, that will change. This is a sad day Chad! Always had to smile when you'd ever so casually add the Storm2K link at the very bottom of your posts. No message attached, just a link. Still think that was clever....and if that was why you were banned, others have posted links too.

And one more thing, if JohnAdmin. was suspected of browsing these boards back on Black Tuesday or D Day, whatever you all called that awful day back in February, you can be sure who's ever in charge of wx.com's boards is browsing here. And let's see how long my account is active after this post....

Stephanie and Chad - so sorry for you both. Wish I could have responded earlier when all of this came down today.......

What a way to start the weekend huh? A holiday weekend at that......wx.com just took the fun out of it. Well, Chad take in a parade or two, fly the flag proud, host a B-B-Q, go camping, something positive this weekend. Show TWC you're not taking this lightly.....but that you'll be just fine too. Afterall, you've got Storm2K! Imagine if you didn't......

Mr Rose is ONE helluva nice guy, I pitched a HISSY FIT not to long ago about my local forecast being WAAAAAAAY out in left field, John sent my his addy, within 2 days, it was FIXED!

Now......Josh, Eric, not to single you out or pick on you BUT......now that John has been stepped down from the position of head Admin SHOULD prove to you that he's NOT a BAD person, the poor guy was just doing his job!!! I now know why Tracy and myself were let go, let's face it, the board is going DOWN! YES.....I will stick up for John and I know Tracy will back me on this 110%, John was/is a COOL person, PLEASE trust me on this one!

I just emailed the "powers to be" at TWC and ask them to remove my profile (I deleted everything in it I could); and logged out--permanently.

I don't know the character of those in charge of TWC, but I do know the true character of Chad and Stephanie...and no longer wish to be associated with a board clueless enough to offend or ban them. I've deleted their bookmark (Weather.com), and will never waste my time there again :grrr:

Chad, I'll tell you the same thing Gulf4caster told me when I unregisted in disgust from GoPBI last August after two regular posters couldn't (or didn't want to) see I was no longer a troll -- Chad...it's their loss...not yours.

A lot of good folks will leave TWC boards just because they banned you -- they lost me tonight.

I understand Dennis ... I am glad he resigned. After reading the posts I needed to catch up on, I think that was the right thing to do. They still have a loooooooong way to go, but that is a step in the right direction IMHO.

PS - I ain't lurkin' over there no mo' after what they did to you tonight Chard! :mad:

I am very sorry to hear that Chad..........Which is funny in a way because i just left a post to the Admins over there asking if anyone was in charge anymore.........I guess this answers my question.......... Thanks guys for the support and compliments! Actually, I checked in with TWC the day Eric was let back on and thought "There's hope yet!" NOT!!!

Anyway, I truly believe that John was not in control of what went down in February to now. It was like a switch was flicked on and everything went downhill. Some higher up didn't like what he/she saw, didn't understand the comradery that was growing and didn't think that it was "money well spent". Capitalism at its finest! :roll:

What a shame!!!!

I'm glad to hear that John did step down. I'm sure that it was difficult for him during those times.
