I found my old welcome thread on the Greetings Forum. I joined Feb. 16, 2003. Dennis joined Feb. 6, 2003 after the whole brouhaha over there. Which tells me the black day was late January or early February?

Looking at an old calendar, February 6, 2003 was a Thursday. I think it was a Black Tuesday or Wednesday, come to think of it. I do remember it being in the winter and I think that it was in February. It was only a matter of a day or two before I got the invite from Chad/Dennis to come here after the mass bannings.

Here's a page from 2 years ago. It has my welcome thread but many others. It sheds a little light on that time period. And it's kinda neat too, to see many of us join S2K. I enjoyed reading these old topics!

I had just gone through one hurricane season in Charlston, SC (2003) and felt that the local information wasn't thorough enough for someone who didn't know anything about canes at all! I did a Google search to educate myself on preparation, and got directed here. Glad I did!

And here we have THE post of the month!!! LOL @ the preggo reference.....yes those female OCM's were popping up pregnant just about every other day back then! Heck, one even opened her own maternity wear shop! Vivian Brown (one of my all time faves there). I hear she's doing quite well with this venture. She mainly wanted fashionable, career type maternity duds to wear and all she could find were sub-standard ones. Good for her!
