Channels you can do without

i could do without:

BET
MTV
Anything Fox
Any shopping channel
any tele-evangelism
any pay per view
cnbc
most of the networks
any sports channels

what i have to have:
Discovery HD
HBO
Cinemax
HGTV
Food TV
TLC
Travel Channel
National Geographic
TBS (all the Law and Order reruns)
TNT (for The Closer)
USA (for Monk)
Court TV
CNN
MSNBC

I LIKE:

Discovery
History
Movie Channels (except, old movies)
Sport Channels (mainly baseball)
TWC (Only in hurricane season to see the landfalls videos and Steve Lyons)
Court TV

I DON'T LIKE:

NEWS Channels (Especially Fox News)
MTV & others like it
SCIFI (Most movies are so stupid that I can't stand them)
Shopping Channels
Food Channel (Just don't see it)
Info Channels
and more that I don't remember right now.

I would agree with TWC statement. I tend to never watch unless there is a landfalling storm or during hurricane season's tropical updates with steve lyons. That seems to be the only time it is worth watching for more than a few seconds.
