we're not talking about some kid who feels put upon by bullying schoolmates. This guy was 25 years old.

this is so sad for the victims that some loser can empower himself with guns and hate and take it out on innocent people.

He liked to play a role-playing Internet game about the Columbine shootings?

Why on earth is there even such a thing??? Geez...

It's so sad how they try to find a scapegoat... Like now the website vampirefreaks which is just a somewhat darker version of myspace. The goverment always does this, they find something in the killers life to blame that has nothing to do with it. If I had to dress in a suit and hold a bible and do the same would they blame christianity? Just cause one whack-job does something like this and belongs to something that another 100000 normal people belong to they seem to put everyone on that site into some "cult".. I am an athiest so the whole dark thing in my opinion is just to fit into the group.. And bad commercial metal/goth music like Marilyn Manson (Whom my mom actually listens to) does not make someone go and shoot up school,if so there would be school shootings every day.

Where did the government blame something that has nothing to do with it? Maybe I missed that.

As for the fact that he liked to play a role-playing Internet game about the Columbine shootings, and then went and shot a bunch of students just like in the game (and the real-life event), it's kinda hard to ignore the direct connection, ya know.

Either way, he was one sick individual, and it's so sad that he killed innocent people before ending his own pathetic life.

I saw a news report where some official had said that there is a line between freedom of speech and the website vampirefreaks.com and they tried to make it seem as "satanic" as possible.. Even though anyone who has done a little research will know satanists have nothing to do with killings or anything bad.(That would be devil worship, there IS a difference).

Look what they did with the coloumbine shootings, they threw so much of it onto Marilyn Manson just cause they listened to his music,in which he does not say "go kill your classmates". They continue to look for things that are stereotyped as bad and try to make that the key in the act of the individual, which is clearly not the case.

As for the game, I bet he played the game cause he was someone who had an urge to do what he did.. It's not as if the game made him do it. One will try to find something they can relate to and then go to that.

I'm not saying what he did was right. But I read his blogs, and he was complaining about bullies and stuff. And trust me it makes it a lot harder for someone to live and be happy when they are constantly being picked on for being different.I`m not using that as an excuse for what he did at all.He was a sick person, clearly. But had it not been for the idiots who treated him like s*** this would have not happened.

Too much do people look at the disturbed ones and blame them for everything they did and soley them. I hate how everyone is stuck to this love of jocks and popular people,as if they are perfect "Oh wow,he plays sport,he is such a good person" when they are the ones that turn people like this into what they are. In the long run it's all their faults,it's only natural to want to hate the people that treated you like you don't deserve to live, and the fact is that's the case in most schools. And like I said before,I am not in any way trying to justify what he did. I am merely wanting other people to think what it must be like to be constantly criticised for being different all the time.Even the one eye-wittness said "He had a retarded haircut",I mean if people are going on like that about you,it will cause problems with your mental state.

Note that hardly any of these people who do these sort of things are part of the popular group,it's always the outcasts that end up resorting to this. The main point I`m trying to get across is that this guy was not born like this,I`m sure he was a very happy normal kid once, untill people starting being mean to him as all "cool" people tend to do to people that are different.I don't know this persons background so what I said might not directly relate to him completely, but trust me it does relate to others who think like he did.

This is just my opinion and the way I see things, and my ex-girlfriend was pretty different aswell, and she is also getting called "a satanist" and a "freak" constantly, people have no thought for others feelings at all. And as I have said numerous times, just to make it clear.. I DO NOT agree with what he did and am not trying to justify it... I'm just showing you things from another eye other than the medias.
