I'm glad to hear that your father is home Jeremy!

Dennis - I'm glad that Chris's injuries are minor. I'm sorry to hear about his accident.

David - I hope that you are feeling alittle better today!

I'm awaiting test results...they did a blood test (or I should say 5 or 6 LOL) to check for serious and immediate concerns...i.e. low magnesium, potassium, etc.... anyways, I still need prayers that those turn out normal...I also am going to be calling the neurology dept. at the hospital tomorrow, and will be visiting there next week...this is a precaution...which hopefully is just that...thanks GB and Rainband...and those who have not responded but pray nonetheless...

Thanks very much! :) This evening after a LONG 9-hour shift at a grocery store (made even longer with an impending sleet storm), I gave her a ring and talked about 15 to 20 minutes. Depending on her work schedule, she may be able to do something. Heck, it is even possible her daughter may come along, like a stroll around the mall, out to eat and whatnot. The very first time I went out with Emily back on November 21, her daughter, a 5 month old, came along. That was very special! I will keep you guys and gals updated on this when I can.

Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers! :)

Have not updated this recently, but finally things have gotten a little more "open" with Emily's schedule. In fact, two weeks ago she had me over on the spear of the moment to hang out and watch a movie. The coming week, she may be able to hang out because one of her colleges (she attends a four-year universary and a community college) is on quarter break at the moment (I am, too! :)).

Also, lately I have not been taking every thought that enters my head and turning into a bunch of unneeded stress. Her and I are going to a concert in May in which I bought tickets for her and I. Kind of a little gift! ;) Looking forward to that!

Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers! :D

OK...the tests turned out fine...but I do have a urine infection which is why I've not been here for a couple days...

Now...the bad news...I'm, at least for now, cut off from my IM's..the reason, a fairly good one...my parents do not know who I talk to, for all they know, I'm talking to bad ppl...also, another BS problem...Thursday, I was basically dropped on my head by one of my friends...rejected...dumped...whatever you want to call it...I'm hurt like never before...I don't know what else to do...a year and 20 days gone with one little comment...no I did not say anything, but she did...I've posted about her before...this IS the final straw...I'm done...:bcry: :bcry: I don't know what to do...help me...:(

Jeremy, relationship issues come and go in our lives. Sounds like this one is especially hard to deal with. My guess is that even though "one little comment' might have been the trigger, there must be deeper problems and bigger challenges to face.

Use this time to rethink how you feel, and then at the appropriate time...a few days, a week, or a month, try to work back into it and make amends.

Truly caring relationships are patient and kind, not angry and ugly. They will survive bumps in the road and heavy hits like this one.

Good luck with it. We all wish you the best.

Miss Mary

Hi all. Doing a quick pop in - my mom has another angiogram this coming Thursday. She had one 5 years ago and came out of that with only meds, no angioplasty neeed. This time they know there's a blockage so she fears they'll at least do an angioplasty. If not more. I fear that also but I'm trying my best not to convey that to my mom. So if anyone thinks of it, tack on my mom's name - Flora - for added prayers. And this almost seems selfish to ask, but add my name too, b/c she's quite the handful in medical situations. I'm already preparing to be with her for at least 36 hours straight. Possibly even 48. I will be missing my own family but somehow it will all work out. Having two teens right now, we rarely have any down time - it's just so darn busy. But this is my mother we're talking about here and my husband, bless his heart, is so good about things like this. He says - just go, do what needs to be done, but hurry home when it's over with. That's the hard part - my mom tends to be a whiner, she doesn't want you to leave.....oh that sounds terrible to say. But this is such a warm, welcoming group of friends. I feel I can be honest with all of you!!! I'll pop in again when it's not so crazy, and really read everyone's posts. Forgive me this time for not doing that.

Thanks a lot everyone!

Mary

Prayers with you and your mom, Mary. There is so much apprehension associated with tests like those...but such a relief when they come back ok. Let's hope that is the case this week.

You're right and we did...thank you all...now, the one problem is how to react to the fact that the person who told me this might have known the real story all along...that she was NOT trying to do anything... I quote Lindsay:

"I would never do anything that would hurt you...you know that. I would never do that. It hopefully was a misunderstanding..."

I hope so too...but I do not know...

Trust is something earned over time, not something measured in small doses.

You will find the answer to your question as each day passes.

Glad to see that hearts are healing.
