Well the worst thing I did in kindy through 12th grade was call a teacher the b word. She was too. I skipped school several times to go surfing-I mean what else is a guy to do when the surf is up? Past that I was pretty tame in school.

Today(well yesteday now)I went to the racetrack with my son and his girlfriend to watch him race her truck. I had a blast! Got to see a lot of good racing and my son managed to do a PERFECT reaction time of .5004 seconds on one of his runs. Unfortunately he "brokeout" on the run so went to the consolation round where he "redlighted"and was eliminated. Almost every redlight was in that lane and a lot of racers say the track equipment has a problem in that lane. Who knows? It was great to watch him race and do well even if he did redlight. Definitely will go again.

The weather was incredible here yesterday(sat) too!! Not a cloud in the sky and a high of 81ºf with a low of 54ºf. More of the same on tap for later today.

Gotta be up early tomorrow to head to the Lords house so I'll sign off now.

David - what track did you go to? Was it the one in Navasota.

Donny heard about another new track in Evandale - we might take a weekend trip and check it out. Woohoo on your son's .5004 reaction time - but bracket racing is the hardest thing to do. Donny did it at super chevy and got in the money round.

Well its a gorgeous day here - hear the big boys engines cranking at the racetrack - not gonna venture out today - too much traffic - we can get the track's PA system on the radio - so we listen to all the action and then here it live LOL.

I'm gonna go and work in the garden and enjoy myself today.

Hope eveyrone else has a great day. Bill you are in my prayers - you know we all care about you.

This weekend...oh my! Can you say Busy?!?!?!?!

Anything and everything was scheduled for this weekend!

Friday I went back down to Milwaukee to finish my AF Reserves physical...I had to do an asthma test for some stupid apparent reason...I don't have any respitory problems at all! I really don't know why I had to take it...but the test is over with the and doc says I have "good" lungs...Spiro test came back normal! :D That's good news! Now lets play a waiting game...everything else looked good and all the extra tests, consolts, and X-rays that I had came back normal :D I just have to wait for the waiver authority to let me in...and then I can officially enlist in the AF! (I'm already in the Waiver Authority computer due to my arch inserts...so I'm hoping they can let me qualify for the AF Reserves.) We were back in Green Bay by 1:30pm and then I quickly had to drive back down to work (Neenah-Menasha Y) for my CPR challenge! It ended up being 4 people taking the challenge instead of 1. But we had fun and we all were re-certified. :D I could finally relax on Friday night...the best is yet to come!

Saturday...worked til 12:30pm (I started at 6am!) Opening lifeguard and then at 8:30am swimming lessons. Then, my best friend and her family played Laser Tag here in Appleton at 3:15pm. We had about 15 people...and there ended up being 30 in the maze. There was WAY to many people in the maze...every where you turn around...there was a LITTLE RUNT from one of the birthday parties!!! :grr: :grr: They were horribly break the rules...and follow us around! Believe me...this was the worst Laser Tag game that I have played in years! Around 5pm, my best friend had us over for dinner, but because I had a million other things to do, I had to miss out. Time for laundry. My cousin had her dance recital at the new Performing Arts Center in Appleton...so my mom and step-dad went to watch her dance. We then we to my aunt and uncles house in Appleton to have her birthday party. (Kenzie's birthday was on March 2nd, but there was way to many things going on in March!!!) It was interesting...everyone was glad to see me...and we got to listen to Zoey sing (Zoey is their puppy that will sing along with Kenzie while she is practicing!)

Finally...Sunday OMG! I hate with everything is scheduled for at the same time as everything else! I had to run up to Green Bay that way I could drop off my shirt for the Shantytown Tie-dying party (I couldn't make it for reasons to come). Then I had to drive back down (thankfully its' only a 45 minute drive from campus to my house in Menasha) At 4pm at the Neenah-Menasha Y, I had a staff meeting to attend. Also at 4pm, my dad and step-mom had an Easter Dinner (I know its early...but today was the only time to fit into our schedules). So, I got out of swimming a 500 (500 yard swim) and perfecting my lifeguarding skills because of the family get-together! Thankfully, my dad's house is on the way up to Green Bay, so I popped in for a little bit to say hi and to show my face. I then had to quickly drive up to Green Bay that way I could be at our weekly Habitat meeting. I couldn't miss this meeting because of the Spring Break Picture exchange. I also told everyone about Anita's update (who was the homeowner that we worked with in january)...she is finally in her new Habitat Home!!! Alright...I get to sit down and RELAX! Lets hope nothing else comes up!

Garrett...how is the sunburn feeling...can I touch it? J/K...I know those hurt!

David...that must have been awesome to watch the races! :D

Not Good, Not Good at All

When I went outside to have my dog walk me I noticed a smoke plume to the SE. After the the dog walked me we got in the van and headed out to videotape what was obviously a wildfire. The fire is south of Palominas and has been driven by 15-30mph winds. At the tine we were there, the fire was approaching a number of manufactured homes but since the area is mixed grass and low brush the homes are probably not in danger since the fire crews can protect them fairly easily. The was a spotter aircraft but no choppers or small aircraft making drops. Hopefully, the fire will not cross S Highway 92 and threaten the Riparian area. As we left the area, the fire was approaching the highway and DPS was diverting traffic off the Highway onto Palominas and Hereford roads. The fire appears to have started in proximity to the International Border but it's probably too soon to tell if the pyrogifts from Vicente's people have started coming yet or not.

Well, I'm just dropping in for a moment on a nice evening, however, I've apparently come down with a sinus infection out of nowhere and it is playing havoc with my throat. How quaint, actually ... this coincides with window training at the P&DC tomorrow morning at 7 am, plus I'm supposed to start recording a demo CD on Tuesday afternoon ... yes, I'm putting my voice and money on the line by request ... and hopefully with the sore throat and sinus infection will go away by then.

When the project is done, I do plan to post, just for my Storm2k family of friends some songs that I do perform on a hidden page on my website ...

Do some quick snorting of salt water up your nose, Storm - sounds
gross, but, it will open you up and help!

Hey, Annette ... I've been trying to find the saline solution but I am having no luck ... I think I'm running a small fever as well ... I haven't been coughing too badly, but I've been sneezing like crazy at times.

A few short weeks...that is music to my ears, too Shannon. I agree with everyone: how do you have time to do everything? That is amazing.

The sunburn doesn't hurt as bad as I thought it would. I am dreading the thought of returning tomorrow to class (I didn't go Friday) to people poking me and teasin' me about missing for the fun of it.

Great evening to be on the Front Porch. 73º and clear. We need a little rain. It looks to come on Tuesday night...we shall see. :)

i know...studying is on its way up due to the short weeks left of classes. More and more each day.

I really don't know how I can manage to do everything. I'm not superwoman nor do I have powers that will escort me to the next meeting or class, but I know that I am blocking my time for each particular subject that I have to grace with my presence.

The end of the road is there, Shannon, and we're all
rootin' for you!

You wonder how you can do the things you do...but, the
young and the strong always manage to figure out a way.
You manage, somehow, with almost superhuman strength,
to get through it - then, as life seems to settle down a bit,
it all seems worthwhile. Then, you're cheering...and,
WE'RE CHEERING FOR 'YA!

Just a little future perspective... :D
