Shannon, it seems like only yesterday that you were starting college. I can remember your posts at TWC and how your enthusiasm just lit up my monitor. You amaze me girl!!!!!! Big ((HUGS))
Miss Mary, I like the weather we had a few weeks back with 60° and 70° temps. I haven't planted any annuals yet but my perennials may take a hit if it freezes tonight. I'll brew a nice pot of Earl Grey so that we can warm up a little!!!
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Howdy folks!
Geeesh, has it REALLY been THAT long since I've sat near the PBS? I am SO ashamed of myself
ANYWAY....I've been SO busy with the PD and all. I've been thinking about closing the PBS BUT....with the weather and all, I mean, we're STILL building FIRES in the woodstove at night, REALLY, almost the MIDDLE of "MAY" and we STILL have a fire going, the WEATHER has been SOOOOOOOO dam screwy!!
AH WELL
Just thought I'd pop in for a minute to say hey, so "HEY!"

Well I've been putting alligator bark on the fire now and then hoping that the smell would draw you in!!!!!! Hi Dennis. It's been cold here at night too. My perennials are looking good and haven't been affected by the cold. Thank goodness. How's your landscaping business??
Well within a few week I hope you can open the porch. I'm ready for some Long Island ice teas!!!!

I hear ya Dennis...it's May and I'm in So Cal, and its still really cold at night...haven't really had any "true" beach days yet, but it may turn tomorrow as we're "supposed" to hit the 80's!
Doesn't that mean you're not far behind?
We're moving to a larger, nicer house....that means I'm breaking nails as we're busy packing and taking loads over to the new house...we hope to be "in" by this Sunday...that's our goal!
Well, I just got a breaking news alert that the Capitol and White House are being evacyuated, so I better go and get the TV on...hope its not a real threat...
Talk to you soon guys.

Well folks, I believe it's time to shut the PBS down, it's been a LOOOOooooooong winter, longest is recent memory in fact, "7 MONTHS" of wet, cold snow!! Forecast is calling for temps in the 70's to 80's now. So....with THAT said, I'll let the embers burn down, close down the damper and move outside to the Front Porch!
