Good morning everyone!

It has been a little bit since I have stopped by the PBS and so I thought I would bring some cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate by to make this weekend more bearable for some of us in the Plains.

Good luck on your finals Shannon. They are fast approaching. Mine are going to be brutal this semester I am afraid. :o

Everyone enjoy your weekend! :)

It has been a long time since I haven't stopped by PBS and I salute all here and I am bringing a good breakfast pancake with bacon and orange juice. :)

Shannon I also say to you good luck in the exams.

Have a great weekend everyone. :)

Yummy breakfasts this morning. Thanks everyone!! :)

*eats heartily*

That was delicious. Thanks again! :)

Chilly here, as was expected. Our low last night was 47. Supposed to get windy later as we have a wind advisory out for a mild (but cool) Santa Ana wind event. Fire weather watch in effect too (details coming soon in the USA Weather forum).

Gggggoood Mmmmorning!

DANG! Talk about CCCcccold! I'm sitting at (are you ready for this?) 8° at the moment with another 45 minutes till sunup, I could possibly fall to the forecast low of "3°!" But WAIT.....there's more "LOL!" It's SUPPOSE to go BELOW ZERO tonight "WoooooHooo!" Perfect *snowman weather* I won't MELT "LOL!"

I too, like the rest of you haven't been around PBS lately, I've been huddled by the TRUE PBS AND hangin' out in the woodshop with the little version of the PBS going, Santa's been VERY, VERY busy, ya know..it's the Christmas rush!

The ribs? Eh.....getting better, STILL can't tie my own shoes, I feel kinda embaressed, I was in WalMart when my shoe came untied, Michelle had to stop, bend over and tie it for me, talk about "LOOKS!" Geeeesh....this one old fart said, "What's a matter? Didn't your Mama teach you how to tie your shoes?" God I felt like sluggin' him "LOL!"

Well.....headin' to His House today "FINALLY!" I haven't been to church in a month of Sundays, our old church.......it's a "LOOOOONG!" story, is GONE! Some JERK and YES...it's OK to call him that, took over the church and ousted the old pastor without anyones consent! This JERK "had" cancer, we laid hands on him, the cancer went into remission and since the JERK took over the church, the cancer has come BACK 10 fold, you DON'T mess with an Ordained Minister PERIOD, God's gonna take care of this PERSON and very soon!

Shut up Dennis "LOL!" Well.......off for another cuppa Joe and sit by the PBS, the temp has now dropped to 6°!!!!

Howdy Folks!

Yesterday was our neighbor's daughter's wedding. The bride was a half hour late, but the ceremony was wonderful and the reception - TOO MUCH FOOD! They have two papillon dogs, Chipper & Eppy, Rudy's best friends. Well, they had little tuxedos on! They were SOOO cute!!!

Dennis - I'm glad the your ribs are getting better, but I'm sure that the cold isn't helping with the pain. Hopefully, there will be some snow to go with that cold. I'm sorry to hear about what happened with your church.

Today I have to catch up on cleaning and do some more raking outside. Marty will be on his motorcycle this afternoon - the temps are going to be in the mid 60's again.

I hope everyone is doing well. Have a great Sunday!!!

We had a visit with our son Ryan last week. He looked good. He'll be able to be home for Thanksgiving which is great. The Probation Officer said that he really hadn't "earned it" yet, so he was supposed to consider it a "gift." I sure hope that the foster care will give him a chance for some self examination. Already, one of is brothers wants to move into his room. What a family!

We met at his school. It was even an "unsupervised" visit. He was happy to see us. We had a care package for him. He'll be allowed to have an overnight at home on thanksgiving.

Well here I am sitting by the PBS trying to warm up - our temps here in SE Texas went from 85 degress to 55 in a matter of minutes. Its rather chilly here - putting the flannel sheets on the bed and cranking up the heaters. Suppose to be 31 in the morning - guess I might need to get the electric blanket out - its going to be hard to get up for work in the morning.

Here is an early Thanksgiving wishes to everyone... going to start my baking later.

I'm gettin' jealous of all you talking about goin' for bike rides. I put the HOG away a couple of weeks ago already. My lovely wife thinks that I am nuts since I stored my bike in the basement this year. Had to keep it climate controlled you know. lol

Blowing snow and blizzard like conditions around here today. Temp currently is a brisk 16 degrees with a windchill much colder. Snow is supposed to keep on a comin through the night and off and on through Thursday.
Y'all keep warm now

You don't ride the HOG in a blizzard???

Marty has been treating each weekend like the last one he'd be able to ride.

That's one heck of a drop in temps Ticka! Please don't get sick again!!!!!

Tip of Lake Superior (20 miles West of Duluth, MN).

As for the bike being the "other" girlfriend, I suppose my wife might say so. But she enjoys it almost as much as I do.

Unfortunately, its not a chopper like they make on "American Chopper". I also watch that show quite often. Mine is a 2000 1200 Sportster Custom with many extras (Chromed out).

Definitely enjoying the stay around the pbs this morning!!! I know some of our friends can really use Granny's afghan-I hope it is being put to good use. BTW has anyone seen Crouton? OH nevermind ! Guess what is keeping my toesys so warm?!?!? He must have gotten some of the KK's I brought in along with a good slurp of the Hot Chocolate!! I'll leave the rest for the "Stragglers". What abouot Clarabelle? Has she gone down to Steve's for winter pasture now? And last but not least where is our Tejas bred Armydilly? He didin't wander off did he?

Well ya'll keep it warm will ya? I will be back!!

BTW, blizzard I know why you can't ride that WONDERFUL SOUNDING HOG of yours now. It ain't got nothing to do with the snow neither!!!! There's somethin' about chrome and skin bein' too close together in the winter that just don't sit right with ya if ya get my drift?!?!?! And what are you guys and gals doing questioning bringing his hog in for the winter? Where else would ya put a hog in the winter except maybe the living room? :D :D

Well it's time to feed this pork belly and get ready for the salt mines. At least it should be warm there!!!

Sheesh! Talking about hogs and bikes. The only hog related to my biking is me. (I do the self powered kind.) Engine specs: 0.61 horsepower and 92,000 cc displacement.
I do keep it in the climate controlled basement too. My bike is worth more than my car.

A frosty good morning to all....we topped out at 26* in the wee hours of the morning . Pretty crazy for here. Its so cold that our downstairs heating unit can not keep the 1st floor warm enough.

Crunch day for me on the housecleaning dept. Mom and her fiance are en route from Daytona today, expecting a near midnight arrival...I finally get to meet her "Mr. Wonderful"! We are looking forward to hosting Thanksgiving this year...its nice when the "kids" can return the favor, and save mom from all the hard work!

Don't forget to taKE your turkeys out of the freezer and start thawing them in the fridge today! Mine came out yesterday...

Been a little under the wx with a flu bug, but seem to be on the mend today...

Everyone, I hope you have a truly blessed Thanksgiving, filled with all the love and warmth from those whom you love best....
