Is anyone watching American Idol???

love the wig ryan, I wasnt able to watch a lot last night due to a sore throat and a tantrum of throw ups. I saw sanjayas performance (love tha hair) and melinda, blake, and phil's performance. From what I watched on Youtube, most everyone was good, except Lakisha and Chris S.

OMG, Sanjaya is not in the bottom three. I wish Criminal Minds wasn't a rerun tonight.

Phil and Haley two of the bottom three. Third spot will be either Gina or Chris Sligh(probably the latter). Sanjaya is SAFE... ugh! :roll:

Cool song Gwen Stefani is singing. One of my favorite nurses added it as the music on her MySpace page today, so I kinda like it already and I'd never heard it before today.

I heard it in a promo ABC had for it's Thursday lineup back about 2 months ago. Since I watch them over and over again I had gotten the song stuck in my head, but didn't really know any of the words. :lol:

Anyway, Chris Sligh is gone. Predictable, he butchered the song last night.

The Sanjaya Craze is getting downright ridiculous, lol!

Anyways, my favorite by far is Blake. And I really like Jordin Sparks a lot too. I think those two are my favorites.

I think Melinda is the most talented, and I like her.. just not as much as Blake or Jordin.

It is getting pretty ridiculous, this whole Sanjaya thing.

I always like Chris - I love his voice and of course, his sense of humor. His problem has always been that he really can't perform on stage and doesn't get "into" the song.

Every year there is one. In some ways I buy it and in some ways I don't. There seems to always be a "surprise" elimination each season like Chris Daughtry and Tanya Gray. The judges are definately faking their feelings. I think that they are also getting disgusted by Sanjaya's stay. Fortunately, for them, their top stars, IMHO, Lakisha, Melinda, Jordan, Blake and I'll even put in Gina have been safe. I'm sure that they are starting to get a little worried now of the possibility of another "surprise".

With that being said, I truly believe that they have their favorites and they ALWAYS seem to win.

Chris Sligh is in a band and they're good. I heard some of their music on their MySpace and it sounds really great. Their CD was #23 in sales on Amazon last night (just checked... it's #28 right now) Wow... that's just awesome.

Half Past Forever on Amazon

We haven't heard the last from him.

I saw that he did have his own band in lurker's links. I wasn't aware of that before.
