Mornin folks.

Hope you all had a good easter.

Breeze if you ever figure out how to hide from Monday, please pass on the secret! ;)

Had a lovely day here yesterday. Wonderfully sunny and warm. We decided to hop on the boat and take the jet-ski out for some fun. I was so happy, yesterday while I was playing around on the Jet-ski I had 2 Manatees surface right next to me. Funny things! Was a wonderful sight :) I am now burnt to a crisp and finally getting rid of the winter shade of white :) YIPPIIEE I look like I live in Florida now :)

Take care all. Catch ya later

I hope everyone had a good Easter...mine was ok. Sunday was pretty busy...Church at 10:30am, then lunch at my step-dad's parents (his mom can feed an ARMY!) There was so much food, that everyone went home with leftovers! And then we went over to my grandparents to give them company for the night.

My brother and I kept beating up on each other (like normal) and we both have bruises to share! One of our pastors gave me permission to beat the crap out of my brother! :D :D (Both pastors know our family well!) My brother had it coming! He kept telling me to stop coughing (I couldn't help it!)

I'm still hacking at a good clip, but the cold is getting much better. I really only cough to clear the mucus from my throat. My nose drains into my throat and that causes my coughing...but I'm still able to give plasma...which is good to hear :D

Anyways...Finals are still weeks away...nothing really to worry bout right now. My finals aren't til May 16th and 19th. Although, I have a midterm and a paper for Wednesday and then a group project in about 2 weeks. I should probably start working on the group project...I've started on the paper already

The Youth Build got off to a bang on Friday and Saturday...the floor is capped and the house is starting to take shape. We build again on Wednesday (only for a few hours) and then on Friday and Saturday.

Greetings!
A beautiful 81* here today...caught up on some much needed tanning...kids love it when we have class outdoors!
We had a beautiful Easter, tho I much miss the Easter Sunrise services on the beach in FL. Nothing of the sort here.
We decided to take the kids on the May cruise (am I crazy????) and booked their rooms today. We learned about the Mayan culture this year already, so I'm excited that they will get to see it up close and personal. (They will also learn about the undersea world of snorkeling...lol)
Making it a little extended trip in Galveston, and booked a room there prior to the cruise, so any of you "Houstonians" that want to come out to the island, it'd be great fun to "meet up"!
Have a great week.

Evening everyone. I am working hard on my Economics. We have a major paper due this week, a test next week, and then a comprehensive final the next. :o Someone please help me! LOL.

Beautiful day here today! A light NW breeze and highs in the lower 70's. Almost perfect. :)

Everyone have a great Tuesday. :multi:

Hello all.

Hello all...

Took a 6:30 am flight out of San Diego and back to Phoenix this morning. Sun was rising above the puffy clouds over the city...what an awesome sight from 28,000 feet!

Did meet up and surprise Kathy's friend at a beach restauarant in Del Mar. Was a lot of fun and laughs. And watching the waves roll in was made it a "treat to eat".

Also caught up with my cousin and his family. Emma, our granddaughter, had a great time with his girls (age 21 and 17). Anyone wanting to see a photo of Emma...well, I'd be happy to let you see her angelic face on Easter! Just drop me an e-mail.

Back to work for me tomorrow. Next trip will be back to Illnois on the 8th of May.

Have a great week friends.

Good evening everyone. Tis a cool evening here with a 30% chance of showers late tonight and tomorrow.

I had a busy Monday at work. Lots of phone calls, but I did so well that the big boss said "Josh has skills." :D That made me feel good.

With my birthday coming up, I'll be getting busire, but you know me - I'll still find time to pop in here. Joshua

So I take it you don't like Econ... I don't mind Environmental Geology, but this article that we have to write on is one-sided...yelling at consumers for not conserving the petroleum resources. I had a horrible time writing the essay yesterday...

Afternoon everyone. Evening for some of you. I had a busy afternoon interviewing some people for an article for the paper. Our college paper "The Chart" just won Best College Newspaper in the State, beating out MU (who say they are the premier journalism school in the country) for the 3rd straight year. The Chart is also a finalist in best college newspaper in the nation. :)

Breezy and cool here tonight. A fall like chill. Bet it is down right cccccoold up there in Pinetop, Dennis!

Hey Garrett, I print newspapers for a living...would love to see the Chart! Do they have a website?

Now Furry..where are you cruisin' in May? And will ya do some home skoolin' on the trip? Hope you have a great time. By now, the cruise lines should know your family on a first name basis!

How's that house shapin' up? Have ya chased the ghosts away? You know us old newspaper people can do one heck of a good haunting! Ghosts in your closet sort of thing!

Hope everyone else is well. Enjoy your hump day on Wednesday.

I Found

#535 Postby Aslkahuna » Tue Apr 22, 2003 11:19 pm

the accompanying comment in today's Sierra Vista Herald from a reader to be quite to the point.

"Am I the only one who found it hysterically funny when Gen. (Tommy) Franks told Syria that a country had no excuse for not controlling its borders."

The individual was undoubtedly NOT the only one. Sierra Vista is, of course, 15 miles north of the US-Mexican Border-one of the most if not the most out of control Border in the World. So far since October 1st, the number of apprehended illegals is down slightly to "only" 166,000+ in the Tucson Sector-considering that it's estimated that one in 5 gets caught that means "only" 800000+ illegals of varying Nationalities and attitudes towards the US have crossed into the US through SE AZ along with TONS of Marijuana, Heroin and Cocaine.

Congratulations for your college newspaper, Garrett.

Not much to bring to the porch this morning, which is usually the case with me. It made it to the low 80s and is currently in the mid 60s. :)

Thanks Tom,Joshua, and everyone. I have only written a couple of stories so I didn't have much part in it.

It is sunny out on the front porch this morning. Brought the flowers out to soak up the sun. Looks like some severe weather across the Plains today so that will be something to keep an eye on.

Have a great day everyone,
Garrett

You're welcome Garrett. I've been published before (in a county-wide newspaper) and it is indeed a great feeling. :)

It is a mostly sunny and cool morning here. Temps are currently around 58 degrees. We have a cloudy and cool week ahead after today.

Hope you all have a great Hump Day. Joshua

Well my visit to the porch today will be short - here at work - glad its Wednesday - seems like its been alot longer week.

I need some energy - these last few days - I have really be dragging - don't know what's wrong. All I want to do is sleep.

Well - back to work I go - probably a 12 hour day here - new projects and deadlines.
