I hope that some year in the future many of you sacrifice and come down to Puerto Rico to have a real picnic in the warm tropics and I know that you will enjoy it greatly at the beaches 8-) we have here.

Luis - That would be soooooo awesome! 8-)
I can see all us winter-white tanless northerners descending on that beautiful tropical paradise. We'll definitely need a tankful of aloe gel.

OK - I've been working late, and, I'm just now
catching onto this thread! We seem to have:

1) Galveston
2) St. Louis or Branson
3) Nashville
4) New Orleans
5) Cincinnati

Any of the above suits me. I can fly there in a
rather short period of time. Now, furluv, I KNOW
that you would expect me to push Nashville,
and, it's much MORE than just country music, but,
I like traveling, too...;)

Here's one for all the Shoppers on the board.
Minneapolis/St. Paul. We have the snow, and the Mall of America......

A little far for most, so not very viable, but I had to mention it...

Actually, I would still like to see it in St. Louis, I love that town.
Budweiser Brewery, here I come...lol

She sent me a pic of her shoveling her driveway. Wow, it looked heavenly! :)

I mentioned this just for you since I know how much you want to play in the snow...lol

You should visit your cousin, then you would get to play in the snow. I am actually about 120 miles north of the twin cities.

It snowed here again today, but I am done shoveling, I am just going to drive over it and pack it down...lol
Unless of course we get another large snowfall, then I'll have no choice but to shovel.

It really is family orientated. They loved the horses and the dalmations.

I think St. Louis is a good idea as well. If you have never been up in the arch... you are in for a treat. Plus, there is the cool zoo, Busch Gardens, the brewery, a neat Science center, the Cardinals, and more!

Plus, I was born there! I'd love to visit again since I haven't been there since I was 2. :)

Yuppers! I was born at Barnes and stayed in the wonderful care of the neonatal team there for a couple of months. I have a "contract" with the Cards signed by Red Schoendeist. And I couldn't knock the pronunciation of "warsh" for the longest time! :)

Let's start a rally for having this in St. Louis. As I said before, I have never been there but it is a place both my wife and I have talked about visiting.

Count me in for St. Louis. Great place and centrally located for many. Only a 3 hr drive for me. I'll even "warsh" the car for the occasion.

St. Louis is about a 35-45 minute flight from
Nashville, so, count me in. When I flew back
from California, a few years ago, I had a lay-over
in St.Louis. I remember seeing the Arch from
the air, alongside the mighty Mississippi, and,
I decided that I might like to return
there, some day! :D

I love St. Louis and I am definitely good for that!! I've also been to Busch Gardens and to see a Cardinals game (even though I was actually there to see the Reds, and they lost, lol!), and guess what? I was TOO CHICKEN to go up in the arch, I was the only one in my whole family who stayed out! So I need to go and prove to myself that I can do it! :D
