Yes it is currently. I lie up near the NE Georgia mountains all 2000-4000 ft of them and I am in a valley so the air here sinks and on a cloudless windless night like tonight the temp drops like a rock

Rainy here this morning. Accoprding to the official Orange County (California) government web page that measures 24 hour rainfall, I have already seen 0.35" of rain here in my city since this storm began. Trust me, we BADLY need it. :D

Hoooowwdyyyyy!

Hey, this school thing is pretty EASY...."NOT!" Actually, now that I've developed a study pattern, it's going rather smooth, so much in fact, I've taken today "OFF!" :woo:

Got the snow shovels out, READY for the snow this coming week! "IF" everything holds together, in which it looks like it, this COULD be a normal winter for us! Back in the "Old'n Days", we used to get snow this time of year and it would continue ALL winter long, you'd never see dirt until May! God let's hope so! Check out my thread in the USA weather forum, it spells it out.

Not much else going on, taking it easy today cuz starting tomorrow, I start work on my mid term paper.

Jeremy, the book(s) I'm using, I've got 3 chapters to go then I get a whole new set, the one for Criminal Justice is "Criminal Justice, a Brief Introduction" by Frank D. Schmalleger. The Criminal Investigation book is just that "Criminal Investigation" by James W. Osterburg and Richard H. Ward, like I said, I'm almost through both of them, with this being an accelerated A.A.S degree program, I'm blowing through them in nothing flat!

I've got some things around the house to get caught up on, I'll try to post sometime this coming week, can't promise anything. So.....with that said, until the next time, "May the Good Lord Bless and Keep You!"

It was cold yesterday... a stiff NW 20-30 mph wind! and extremely cold in the house (my step-dad finally turned on the furnace today) after the fact :( House temp was 51* yup, just a little cold. Sunny skies and warmer temperatures today :) Yesterday, the temp didn't reach 50! We've been forecasting this for about a week... saw it coming... 850 mb temps were below zero.

I've been having problems with internet connections... I'm on my mom's computer right now. I'm not sure when I'll be on next... have to bring my laptop in today to see what the problem is. My modem is supposedly unavailable for connection ??? I've tried everything known to get the modem to connect. I might add that the modem is enabled... but it is still not working right.

I also have exams on Weds and Fri... so time will most likely be spent studying.

Got down to 45 here Friday Morning, 43 Saturday Morning, and 49 this morning. Much warmer this afternoon. It's 77 right now after barely making it to 70 yesterday and staying in the low 60's on Friday.

I'm ready for it to get cold for good. :grr:

Think pojo sent his weather my way. Didnt reach 50 today and it was windy. Chilly day for watching kids soccer games! But it is still too soon to turn on the furnace.

Pojo sent her weather your way, weathermom! ;)
A lot of usernames can be "unisex", I agree! She's really a
sweet, hardworking gal named Shannon! Ooooh, but, that
had to be quite chilly, sitting out and watching the kids play
soccer! The hot old cow here finally turned the
heat on, yesterday, but, it looks to warm back up
into the 70°s, next week, after a round of
severe storms. Guess I'll open the doors
and windows...? LOL, this weather drives
me NuTz!

LOL, it's a change-of-season ritual, around here. In Spring,
when the majority of the country is seeing blooms and
some warmth, we'll go back out on the Front Porch!

I kinda like the hot coffee and KK's better, anyway... ;)
