I've had something stuck in my craw since TLC and myself were let go as admin/mods, "WHY?!" Just curious, John didn't explain the whole story. Tracy and myself were strictly volunteers, no pay, no nuthin' and to be let go with no reasonable explaination has REALLY bothered me, I thought we were doing a GREAT job for TWC and to be *kicked in the teeth* for no apparent reason REALLY got me. I spent MANY, MANY nights during last winter *patrolling* the boards, some say with an *iron fist*, which was TOTAL BS! Tracy made herself sick, I lost 2 days of Christmas vacation with my daughter when the Off Topic Forum was pulled because of one member(Rob to be specific) and to be treated like this is NOT fair what so ever! I am now seeing loyal members being banned, once again, for no apparent reason, what the heck is going on here????

That I can agree with Stephanie. These are posts that TLC and myself have left there asking why this is occurring, I mean no explanation, isn't there something called DUE PROCESS????

I could be next. Just posted a response on this topic over there. And gave a link for Storm2K.....tick tock, let's see what happens. I wanted to invite Scranton but didn't have his email addy.....so I just invited everyone who sees it. Oh well, what can it hurt? I don't feel like posting much over there anyway....I did like being able to read topics when TWC boards came up in conversations......that is still strange IMO - you have to be a member to read the boards. Well, wait a minute, maybe not so strange, considering we're talking TWC boards.....glad you're okay now Chad. I'm sure it stung you were banned. You watch, I'll be the one crying tomorrow. Not that you cried, you know..... LOL

I gave 1,000 or so to this site to get myself banned ... I wasn't so sure of whether or not to do it but Rob actually was the one who said I should, so I did. I owe him one for that.

True, I should have known better than to ask a question like that, I know I will never know the reason why Tracy and myself were *kicked in the teeth*, shows to go you, like with ANY HUGE corp., *Look out for #1 and to HADES with the people who make it work!* It's ALL about the corp. CEO'S, stuff the money in their pockets and let the *common blue collar working stiff* suffer! I for one am DONE with these boards, truly a SAD day in history, I've been an active, supportive member of TWC and a LOYAL viewer BUT.......like EVERYONE here has complained about, it's ALL about the HIGH and MIGHTY dollar, the viewers no longer have input, if so, Storm Stories and all the OTHER documentaries would be pulled by now.

It will probably be of no help at all, but I have extended myself out to a couple of folks within the TWC organization to see a) what might be going on with weather.com, b) how, if at all, we can rekindle some respect for those who are there and its fans, and c) perhaps find a way to get weather.com back on course as a fun and rewarding place to visit.

My roots with TWC go back to its very first year, and I still consider much of what they do to be positive and constructive.

As a lifelong fan of TWC I am disappointed to see so much negative energy on weather.com. After all, were in not for TWC, most of us would not have grown our interest in weather...and some of us would not have found each other!

I'll share whatever I can if I get a response.

It is truly a sad end to a wonderful era as Poppysky ( I love that nickname! :wink:

) referred to. As I said to Jackie when I called her recently, I can't believe how fortunate and blessed I was to stumble upon that forum and TWC and to meet all of you wonderful people! I hope that TWC is happy with the results that they now have. This seems to be the goal that they wanted to achieve! :roll:
