WOW BRENT YOU REALLY GOT THE INFO HUH? :D

I was doing my usual Sunday Afternoon "scout every DH board on the internet" for info.

4 hours 18 minutes to go... I can't wait to see what's in the basement.

Okay... the Applewhites are officially bizarre.

I was looking for hidden clues. We know the person is a "he" and he did something really bad.

Ugh...

That Betty story seemed SO fake. She hasn't been having sleeping problems...

So, we really got nowhere in that plot.

The murder plot is really interesting but next week is the last episode the mother-in-law is in, so something must happen???

Okay, to recap tonight we had....

A chained up man.
A woman slapped (although she had that one coming).
An intentionally released rat into Lynette's house.
Lynette talking to the deceased rat's body, in a garbage can (thought surely someone would see her).
Susan running over Edie.
Question - who rollerskates dressed like that? LOL
Back to my list....
A bogus story for the shrink. We don't buy that do we?
"We tell eachother everything. That's our thing!" - whoa, okay then.
A visit from creepy George.
Gabby and Carlos - yawn, sorry their story bores me.

And yet......

Bree did not break down. I really expected her to throw the MIL out and break down, finally......

She's gonna be blamed for Rex's early demise, I just see it coming. Meanwhile creepy George will console her and be so supportive. Gag!

Mary

PS - this was the second week in a row when DH went beyond 60 minutes. Glad I was watching live otherwise I would have missed a few scenes and the previews. Is it a 65 or 70 minute run show? Just curious....

Miss Mary... it's 61 minutes to be exact and it always will be(at least for awhile). It was actually as long as 63 minutes during Sweeps last season.

See I knew it! I'm gonna fix that on the DVR recording......I miss the previews if I don't watch live.

Thanks. Didn't think I was losing it.

Another question - is it just me or does it always seem like Teri Hatcher is about to cry in many scenes? Her eyes look so glassy. Maybe she wears contacts or has allergies. Whereas you had Bree, nary a tear. Her eyes - very dry. Susan's seemed ready to well up at a moment's notice.

That was a fake story. Note the ending with the Mary Alice voiceover... the sleeping pills are so the person in the basement will stop making those noises all the time. She had to make up a story to get the pills.

Good observation! I expected to see George chopping up those pills. Then I realized he'd own a fancy schmancy pill cutter/grinder at home!

The whole story she fed the shrink seemed fake. No matter what this wife says, we'll never believe it!

Hey funny thing I noticed - a former Lost character/actor showed up on DH tonight. He played the Science teacher on Lost, called Arzt. He was blown up in the season finale.

And now he's an investigator/attorney looking into Rex's death!

Wonder if the actor is enjoying his new work surroundings!!!!

Actually... it took me watching the replay to pick up on that.

Unfortunately, I don't think George will be linked to the murder of Rex, at least not for awhile. Bree will apparently stumble on her lie detector next week. Things don't look so good.

I'm getting REALLY bored with Susan/Mike. Either get married and have kids, or breakup and don't have this "indecisive" junk.

The Lynette mouse thing was HILARIOUS...

Favorite lines:

During one of her over-the-top breakdown sessions "Phyllis, do you ever worry about deyhdration?"

At the dry cleaner "I have low blood sugar... do you want me to keel over?"... no... in theory"

:roflmao:

and then of course, when she gets the attention of the dry cleaner the food is forgotten.

I agree, no one will suspect George at first. This could be an ongoing story all year long. People will question if Bree was capable of tampering with his meds. It will come out that he was taking the wrong medication I'm sure. If the doctor is on to something, they will check which meds he was on.

Another question.....when Rex was penning that farewell note to Bree, did he actually finish what we saw the doctor hand the investigator? I thought Rex got as far as I'm sorry, I forgive but didn't actually write the 'you' word.

I seem to remember him finishing with the "you" in the note because he made such a sloppy "y" (I remember thinking it at the time).

I wonder if Rex is in the basement? :) But Mary, you missed the previews, right?

I wonder if besides getting an answer as to who is in the basement, we don't also find out how the Applewhites are related to any of their Wisteria Lane neighbors already. I mean, look at Mike -- no one knew at first of his connection to Zach and the Youngs. So I wonder if there isn't already some connection between the Applewhites and any of the DH's.

I saw them but before we turned off the TV, so I was already heading for the stairs when Jim said wait you get previews.....what important detail did I miss (b/c the DVR did not record them)?

I want that locked up man to be Rex.

And now we hear Brent saying - repeat after me, Rex is dead, Rex is dead....

We did see Rex dead in the coffin, didn't we? LOL

But I want him to be Rex, dang it! Can't quite picture Bree all alone yet.

IF it is Rex, that family could have a grudge against him, medically speaking. Maybe they feel he was directly responsible for a relative's death and so they kidnapped him?

Well, that's a real stretch isn't it? Anything is possible though.

We saw Rex in the coffin...however, in the previews, we see Bree and Phyllis standing over an open, empty grave.

He could have faked his own death. :)

Oh that's right, I forgot about the empty grave. I just assumed they exhumed his body, to determine if his death was by natural causes or not.

I think I've watched too many soaps in my day...he he. When we were told Rex died, I just didn't want to believe it. So I'm climbing back out onto that long tree limb and declaring right now - I'm skeptical. He's not dead! I'll keep that opinion for most of this season I'm sure now.

And remember, Rex likes to be "punished." :)
