"Pavarti" is her name? I strained to hear it and it sure sounded like "poverty" to me. Is she there to play a game or snag a fella?

The player that annoys me is Jessica/roller girl/flicka -- whatever her name is. Ozzie's hair looks extraordinarily tidy next to the rat's nest on her head. :shocked!:

(That wasn't very nice to say, but I just had to say it.)

I think Pavarti is there to snag a fella. Makes ya wonder why these people even go on Survivor. Billy thought he could relax and take it easy. Flicka just wants to make friends. That's nice but her arse is going to be on the line at some point. Pavarti......she just drives me nuts. Check out her bio, her last name is Shallow! I'm serious....

Ozzy doesn't bug me much. He reminds me of Bobby Jon at times but he doesn't quite have that intense competitive strategy going as BJ had. Remember BJ in challenges? And they kept losing too......he just kept giving 150%!

One big difference with Ozzy and BJ is that BJ was a true southern gentleman and was kind to most everyone around him. This Ozzy guy does have some things about him that remind me of BJ but he seems very arrogant that is what I don't like.

ROFL, Pavaritis last name...Shallow. I guess there is alot in a name. :cheesy: And I thought the same thing about her name Bobbie Lee. I was like who is Jeff calling Poverty, and then thinking what the heck kind of name is that anyways. lol.

Hey, I've had a cold lately and my ears are all clogged up. I thought Jeff said "Harmony" at one point! All I knew is it wasn't a regular name. I think she's the one that grew up on a commune in Florida also. I'd have to read her bio again.

Kelly I agree with you about BJ - he was a true Southern Gentleman. I think he might be my favorite male contestant to date!

Are we all eager for new revelations tonight? :D
We'll likely see Candice return from Exile Island.

I hope the challenge is a new one this time!

I'm not feeling this season at all. I'll be watching it, and hoping for the best though. Should be a double boot coming soon(though I don't know if it's tonight).

So long J.P. - what did he say - holy crap? LOL Perfect reaction.

Brent - I still don't have a favorite, yet. Although when the guy who reminds me past player Sarge, almost cried when the baby bird fell out of the tree, that got to me. I was so upset with that jerk, Cowboy. Now he needs to go soon. The idiot! Poking a stick at a native bird. There should be a law against that, Survivor wise. Jeff Probst needed to swoop in - pun intended - and say you're outta here Cowboy. Tormenting the wildlife like that.

My animal cruelty rant is over. Yeah, I know, they fish all the time. Someone is going to say what about that?

I won't give up on this show but it's not that exciting. Yet, it could heat up.

Yeah... that was horrible. :( I understand fish, because it's well, fish, but a baby bird?

and then of course he pretty much won the IC for Aitu(I was laughing when he was dancing around like a drunken fool trying to make that fire bigger), but in some bizarre way, it worked.

At 8 p.m., the second episode of ABC's "Ugly Betty," 9.5/15, held on to most of the audience from its premiere. "Survivor: Cook Islands," 9.4/15, was just behind in households but won the hour in viewers. "My Name Is Earl," 6.0/10, and "The Office," 5.4/8, rebounded some from last week. FOX's coverage of the National League Division Series was fourth, beating The CW's "Smallville," 2.8/4.

Does anyone think that the guy who nearly cried at the baby bird sounds like Alan Alda? Everytime I hear him speak, I expect MASH to be on. I think it is me, but the hubby agrees with me.

Are we alone?

I guess a bit, but its more like Raymond from Everyone Loves Raymond. The first time I heard his voice I was like thats Raymond, lol. And my hubby agrees with me as well. He has more of a northern accent like Raymond, Alan Alda not so much so, but all 3 have the same sorta tone to their voices.

I'll have to rewind the tape! He does have a distinctive voice. I'll get back to ya Kelly!

Sounded like Alan Alda to me, too! :D

Cowboy was really out of line to disturb that nest. :x I hope that little baby bird survived. :( That man has to go -- what a chatterbox!

I'm beginning to agree with others here that this season is not up to par. Why aren't these "survivors" scrambling for food? Seems like they have it awfully good out there! I was distracted by chores during last night;s show, but we've got it on tape and I'll watch it again.

Okay Jonathan does sound like Alan Alda, definitely.

Interesting challenges tonight.

Tribal wasn't a surprise. When you say you could go for mashed potatoes and gravy, how are your tribemates supposed to take a comment like that? It did sound as if Stephannie wouldn't be terribly disappointed if voted out. The real surprise would have been voting off Christina. But things will be tense back at camp, as they showed in previews. That should be fun to watch! Come on, Christina didn't realize she can be bossy?

They're all starting to look pretty dirty and grungy now - scrubbing their teeth with, what was that? And the girls comparing their arm pit hair - that was gross!

Cowboy is beyond annoying. How his tribemates can stand him, is a mystery!

Won't be seeing this anytime soon, as I will be in class on Thursday nights from 7 to 9 PM. Takes about 45 minutes to drive back and forth. Wife will fill me in as best as she can when she watches. Going to school to get my HAM radio license :)
