Roller coaster of a month...Update 2/4 9:10PM
Moderator: S2k Moderators
((((Jeremy)))) I have had those feelings too; in fact, a couple of months ago I was really wondering if I could go on with life; I am now on medication and my outlook has improved 500%; some days are still hard, but nothing like it used to be. Please, PLEASE talk to someone and get help; there are many people that love you.

I almost did the one thing no one wants me to do last night around 9pm. I nearly took a 12 foot dive from the top floor of my house to the basement, over the top of a banister. Only my rational side started my fingers to dialing my cell phone and I didn't go through with it. I had sunk to my lowest of lows. I didn't go to sleep last night/this morning until about quarter to 6. Krista and I talked late last night from about 4am to 5:15. She's shattered over it, but it's not her fault despite her saying it is. She was trying to do what was best for me by not telling me. I'm the hard-headed one. As I said before, my urologist made a referral for me...I just don't know where I'm supposed to go to be seen.

Jeremy, We're all glad you didn't take that plunge! I hope you feel better today after a good long nap. You really should find a counselor, someone preferably working under an MD who can prescribe some meds if necessary. Can you talk to your parents or a counselor at school about where to go? Check your health plan regarding benefits and a participating provider, and then hit the phone book and start making some calls.
I pray the best for you, wxbuddy!

Jeremy...please wxbuddy... do what Isobar suggested and what we talked about via text messages. It is the best option. You don't have to feel this way. We are pulling for you!!!

I didn't sleep that late. To be honest, I only got 4 hours quality sleep...the sleep I did get after 10am was frequently interrupted. Again though, I'm supposed to have a referral on file SOMEWHERE...it's just where. I may not wait, though, if what I expect will happen tomorrow at home, does.

And I know you don't know live anywhere near him to do anything! I hope he gets help for his severe depression before it is too late. Suicide is a permanent solution to a problem. I hope if he is reading this, that he gets help. Think of all the people that love you that you would be leaving behind! Please don't do anything to hurt yourself! I am almost in tears shaking as I am reading this. Sounds so like me just a couple of months ago. Luckily, I pulled through with the help of friends and family.

I am still worried too. Storm2k has been like an extended family to me after being a member for nearly 3 years. If WX247 got a text message from him, then it should display his cell phone number as well. I would keep trying to call him to see if he is okay if you have his cell number. Nothing is worth ending your life over and I hope he has seeked help.

Jeremy,
I've been down that road many times... you can't let it get to you. As cajungal said, "suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem." You may have seen some of my threads on here before, asking for help or questioning the meaning of life and the such. I will tell you that attempting suicide has left my friends on edge before, my family wondering about me, and more. All of us at Storm2k are behind Jeremy, 110%.
The darkness is a fickle place, where things can happen that we don't want to happen. But there is a way out, there is light at the end of the tunnel. It had to be pounded into me to see it, but I know its there.
But you must know that suicide is not the answer you are looking for. It only solves the problems at hand, the stresses that you think are there. Now, I am not trying to degrade or tell you that you are not feeling pain. You probably are, you are hurting badly, and you don't like doing what you are doing. But it will get better, it will trust me.
Jeremy, again, I have been down that road before, and I still struggle with it everyday. To be honest, I have tried suicide before, and it only opens up a new can of worms and depression. Get help Jeremy. I did not seek it because I was afraid. But you, Jeremy, are strong. I see it in you.
If you EVER want to talk about anything, PM me right away.
