Ok, tonights show, as it has for a while, opened more questions then it provided answers...one question, how many of the "Others" are there exactly??? Also, the black smoke, could that be the "Others" motion sensing "light" and protector??? I mean, you watch it and something moves and the smoke is all over it, but, when the black guy didnt move, it went away... I liked the, "how long will it take to train an army" Jack did, my mom was like, YOU GO JACK!!! :cheesy: :) :P :D 8-)

The one question Robi and myself had was why in the Heck didn't Jack go get Anna since she was a policeman and well trained in firearms????? Didn't make a lot of sense to take sawyer with him still injured and to leave Kate who he knows can shoot a gun and fight for herself and was not injured.

Who the heck is Zeke??? I know he was one of the guys on the boat that took Walt, but does Sawyer know him from before?? Or did he just call him that?

I really wonder what character they could be bringing back, doesn't make sense, even the French woman wouldn't be that interesting and the others that have left are all dead, are they going to come back to life? Or is Walt coming back?

Oh well, more questions, few answers! But at least we know why Jack's wife left him, poor guy.

And also the previews for next week....they are going to steal Claire's baby???? and Charlies does some Heroine? I certainly hope not!

I am a little nervous about this whole army thing. And I am wondering when Sawyer shot at that guy, Zeke, and the bullet ricocheted back and nicked him, what did it ricochet off of? Zeke? I don't think Sawyer is that bad of a shot in that situation where he would have missed him? I don't think I would want to go to war with these people, I want to know more about them though. How long have they been there? And how did they get there? Are they really part of the experiment?

Well I guess we now know a little more about Jacks wife, but still no answers to her death. And I understand why she left, not a great thing, but I get it. She probably should have left before she started cheating though. Maybe Jack goes to hunt down her boyfriend and in the scuffle he accidentley shots his wife? Who knows.

Yup, I am pretty sure Charlie starts to hit the powder again. And the whole baby thing, maybe Claire lets him back in and the baby gets stolen while he is sleeping due to his habit. It does seems something happens to the baby. Can't wait to see next weeks episode,

So many questions. My daughter Laura and I were discussing last night's show before she went to school. She thought every torch represented an other, but we couldn't see the actual person. But if you'll recall, Jin and Eko watched the others walk past them and they didn't seem to add up the total number of torches we saw. What I suspect is this - Zeke wanted them to think the plane survivors are outnumbered and they'd better watch their step. But I think one other could have been holding two torches. About Zeke....I'd have to replay it, but did he say my name is Zeke? I remember Sawyer saying we're not finished yet, or this isn't over, or I know you (from the boat). On that IMDB board, some fans think there's a protective shield around Zeke and maybe the others, that's why the bullet that Sawyer fired ricochetted off Zeke.

I love the back burner stories going on too:

Locke wondering why Sawyer renamed himself. And funny how he called him James at the end!

Jack telling Sawyer "you love her" and Sawyer all confused like. Because Sarah left him for another man, I think that's why Jack's backing off his feelings for Kate. He doesn't want to risk being rejected again.

Mary - as for Jack not taking Ana along, if you'll recall he left the bunker, ASAP and going back to the beach would have taken time. I also suspect Ana Lucia needs to prove herself and gain some trust. Everyone knows she shot and killed an innocent person - Shannon. You can't take someone with you in the jungle who might mis-fire or act on impulse. Locke was a good one to take. Sawyer's got that whole street vibe, I'm tough thing going on. Allowing him to go made sense. Denying Kate was confusing. I didn't think she was in danger until Hurley told Sayid Kate went with them and we hadn't seen her in any subsequent scenes. Wonder what all she saw when taken? Maybe Michael and Walt?

I still say Charlie won't do heroin again. He might touch it, smell it and almost do it, but stop himself just in time. He is falling for Claire and won't want to jeaprodize that.

I had to laugh at Hurley's comment about having a chance with Libby. The look on Charlie's face was too much - as if to say, sure on a deserted island you have a chance, but back in the real world, I don't know......LOL

I'll be interested to see what TV Guide has up today about last night's episode. I'll watch for the critique and post it.

Was Sarah out of her mind? NO WAY would I have cheated on Jack :D

I'm really surprised "The Others" held a meeting with Jack, Sawyer and Locke. That Kate, though. I'm starting to think she needs a good butt kicking.

Did anyone also notice that Zeke mentioned Jack and Locke's name, but never said Sawyer's?

That's because Sawyer isn't his real name - LOL!!!

Did anyone catch that he asked someone named Alex to go get the girl (Kate)? Alex is Danielle's son......

The man Sarah left Jack for is important info I've read. And will likely turn out to be someone in Jack's past or life now (maybe Sawyer).

Do we know for certain that Sarah died? I thought Jack just said he lost his wife. Meaning, lost her to another......catch that coincidence - LOST his wife?

Gawd Almighty, I'm way too addicted to this show!!!!

HMMMMM - didn't catch the Alex thing!! Shelby called me in the middle of that part to complain about Kate!!! So, they are keeping the kids - maybe to groom them? But for what?

Well, again, Sarah must be out of her mind to leave Jack! I'll take him :D Side note: Sawyer had a brief part on a repeat of CSI last night!

Now that you said something, I guess so wx247. Wonder if that was on purpose, I think they know who everyone there is, even if he renamed himself. Hmmmm.

Also another funny thing is the way Sawyer called Loche Mr. Clean. :cheesy:  I really like that Sawyer, and his humor. And the Locke fired back with the whole why did you change your name thing.

Jack may seem to be the perfect guy, but he was never home, so what good is he? She may should have tried to work on it, but who knows this boyfriend of hers my be better than ol Jacky poo.

Ditto on Sarah being out of her mind. How could she leave Jack? Jack's my hero!!!

I think Matthew Fox just might......and this is a big announcement....replace Brad Pitt......LOL Now I have 3 hunks.....George Clooney, John Cusack and MF. I guess I don't want to grow up.....LOL

Zeke definitely said Alex, go get the girl......but we didn't see Alex. I think Kate was shoved his way and you heard shuffling.

Kate will have valuable info next week, about the others' camp, who's there, who's not, how many, how few and where are the children.

Jack was at the hospital saving lives or trying to. Which goes a long way in my book. I'm just the loyal type I guess. And Sarah needed more. Maybe she left Jack for Jack's dad?

Kelly - I love your thinking icon.....which is what I'm doing today.....LOL

Seriously I have alot of respect for what Jack does, but I don't know if I would want to be married to him. If he is never there to talk to, amoung other things to do, then you have to get male attentions somewhere. lol. Yea is is loyal, but loyal to who? Not his wife. And thank god she wasn't pregnant, but I guess it could have the boyfriends. I still feel bad for him though, I think he really loved her, he just had his priorities backwards.

lol - I think I would have found a way to deal with it! I mean - it's Jack! He is SO good-looking, and he has a heart, too. It doesn't get much better than that!

Here's a funny thread about Sawyer's nicknames for everyone on the island. Read if you want to. I don't think he calls anyone by their real name! Someone said he called Zeke "Bluebeard" last night.....

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0411008/board/flat/34131907

Kelly - I understand where you're coming from. I used to work for 6 busy surgeons, who were faithful husbands and wonderful dads. But they were hardly home. I saw how hard they worked too. In their cases, their wives were loyal back, but maybe b/c they all had children to focus on. Jack's wife didn't. She probably asked herself why did I marry him again? And I always thought Jack never really loved her the way he should have. He felt obligated to marry her, but didn't really love her the way you should when marrying.

And I have to agree with Sunny here......Jack's too cute to just say goodbye to!

PS - here's the TV Guide Watercooler Lost Critique.....

Lost
Dear Misters Lindelof and Cuse,
In the future, could you please have some sympathy for a new mother who has to struggle to find the freeze button on my remote with one hand while holding the baby in the other? I mean, at least have some of the patient's info hidden on that spinal X ray. I personally think Gabriella's now-deceased pops could have been the elusive Alvar Hanso, but the X rays revealed nada excepting the hospital name, St. Francis M.C. West, and interestingly enough, the date Nov. 16, 2005. Wouldn't that have been after Flight 815 crash-landed on mystery island? But a name might have been nice, though the amazing confrontation between Jack and Mr. Degroot and the rest of the Others was well worth a little bit of frustration at the lack of new info. "The only reason you're living on [the island] is because we let you live on it." These are some not-so-friendly neighbors. When the Others lit up their torches so that it was visible that they had Jack, Locke and Sawyer surrounded, I actually gasped. No wonder Jack wants to create an army to retrieve Walt and Michael. Oh, and while I'm desperate for any new info, I'd love to know exactly what Walt's IM to Michael said that sent him trekking north into the jungle like a bat out of hell, or if the message was even really from Walt. And what exactly makes Walt so "special"? And did anyone else think it was really funny and/or odd that Ana Lucia's only pal on the island is Walt's dog Vincent? Other random thoughts: I'm trying to figure out who the heck Geronimo Jackson is and if he is a real person. Can't wait to see if Hurley and Libby get together; he's totally crushin' on her: "She's kind of cute in an 'I've been terrorized by the Others for 40 days' kind of way." Loved the ever-growing tension between Sawyer — rather, James Ford — and Kate. And only "James" could get away with calling Locke Mr. Clean and live to tell the tale. After 50 days together, most people know that Locke isn't really known for his sense of humor. — Angel Cohn

Mary - you can best believe that were I his wife, I'd hang on his arm too!!!

I did catch the Mr. Clean comment - I thought it was cute when Sawyer told Locke all he needed was an earring and it's be complete!

I like Locke as my fav character, and, the "Others" maybe they take the kids to train them to be an "Other" I mean, they cant live forever, and someone has to take over, right??? Maybe its easier to trick the kids than the adults, and the kids live longer than if they were to train adults...do you catch my drift??? :)

Yes, she was out of her mind.

That's because he was off saving lives and making a nice living for them. You'd think the time apart would keep the times they're together more special without getting sick of each other. Couldn't she have taken up shopping or something?
