Annabelle seems to be doing better today...even if she does have mascara running down her cheeks, frizzy hair, and 11 knees in her pantyhose (I swear, she looks like "The Ho' of Babylon"!) :o

Missed out on much of our own good weather today..slept in, thankfully, from all that running yesterday (as if I really "needed" to do all that... ).

Annabelle (she be a ho') may BE a "woman who knows what she wants", yes..."You're HOME! I'm HERE! I LOVE you! GIMMESOME!"...Oh, the very whoredom of it all...

Hello everyone...

This is the first time I've seen a computer yet alone turned one on. (It's after 11pm on March 4th) :o :o :o

This was my schedule today! 9:45am plasma donation which went til 11:15am, then had to drive straight to my recruiters office to be there by 11:30am. Then had to pick up my paper work and then head over to the Armory to take the ASVAB. All throughout the test, I was light-headed because I didn't get a chance to eat after I gave plasma. Thankfully, I had a stick of gum in my purse that I could chew on. I drained everything that I knew how to do, everything that I remember from school, and everything that I learned from Habitat/Work to take the test. :o :o There was 9 sections all of which I did ok (or aced!) except for the Mechanics/Automotive and Electrical parts. I was one of the first people to finish each section of the test...with plenty of time to spare.  We finished the test around 3:30pm and had to wait to receive our scores. The lady (TA) hand graded the tests and then gave us our scores at once (around 4pm). It was more agonizing to wait for the scores then to take the test. :o We then talked with the recruiter about the scores. I had to drop mine off at his office because he wasn't there to pick up my scores in person. So, I went back and actually got to talk to my recruiter in person. I scored a 62 on the ASVAB and was right in the middle of the pack! :D The people that my recruiter usually sends through get anywhere from 60-70 on the test! You need a 31 to get into the military. He'll get the computerized scores of the test and then we'll talk on Thursday about it. I then drove straight to work and walked into the Y and my boss was standing at the front desk waiting for me to arrive. I walked in and he was like "did you pass?" I nodded my head which meant yes I did... and then he said "good, now go teach." I looked like crap, I couldn't think and felt really light-headed! I didn't have time to grab anything to eat nor have a chance to stop at the vending machines before work. I didn't leave work til after 8pm and I broke my 8pm rule (which is don't eat after 8) due to the fact that poptarts was the last thing that I ate and that was around 8am! It was either eat something or throw up stomach acid. :18: :( :( So I decided to eat something.

I'm lucky I knew my way home because my brain was so fried from the ASVAB, that thinking is out of the question right now. I have yet another midterm to go tomorrow (Chemistry II) and one more on Friday (Physics II). Thankfully, Physics is a take home exam. And to top things off, I have a Calculus II quiz on Thursday.

This is what I feel like right now... :23: But once this week is over, then the real party begins! :new-bday: is only a few short days away!

Enough about me...

So that's what Crouton had all over his snout...Chocolate Kisses. I thought animals couldn't have chocolate. Silly Crouton. :broll:

Garrett, a shot of peppermint schnapps will heal that Bronchitis rather quickly...been there, done that! :ggreen: :ggreen:

Bill...it sure seems like annabelle is a queen of the house.

  would feel so good right now.

Evenin all.

It has finally stopped raining! Yippie. It is however very foggy. I will take that instead of the rain anyday. It is currently a toasty 64 outside and tomorrow looks to get up to 83 ( I just hope the suns shows up!)

My goodness Shannon I am exhausted after just reading your post...Good luck with all your tests and exams and DONT forget to eat!!!! Bad Girl!!

Garrett if you take these peoples advice you will be a raging alcoholic ;) I hope you get better soon.

Streetsoldier you will have to send Anabelle to me for a holiday (just so she can be my 'Ho for awhile);) I miss having a dog so much. I have a cat but he is just pathetic (i love him loads!) He follows me around all day and sleeps on my feet when I am on the puter.

Anyway peeps stay warm (blah you can take some from me!)

Jackie GIMMIE a Brownie..please .I am drooling again......mmmmmm chocolate.

What are you talking about? Is there a comet coming??OMG!! Take cover!!! :23: I think this is where our so called sun went!! :33: 9 days and counting!!!

FYI, my headhunter interview went really well today! For starters the interviewer turned over my application and said "I see you have one of the same hobbies I do, Church choir". I was disappointed that he didn't say weather  and thrilled to know I was working with a professed Christian who would at least have the same type of values I have. They are going to present me to 4 different firms. One has a description of the job of my dreams(not a weather job dang it!) which is basically the designer(me)does all of the client interface and controls most of the aspects of the project. Another is with a firm where I know the COO personally from having worked directly with her for 4 years during the 80's(not sure if that is good or bad) and is also the firm where the recruiter just placed the young engineer I just "trained" at my former job.(yes she left the firm, which basically leave them with a BIG PROBLEM since she had taken over the project I was on). Another is at my last large employer before where I just was and the contact person is the last person I was working directly with there and he and I had a good working relationship. Enough of that!
It went well and I am even more confident The Lord is at work with me!!

Well after reading Pojo's post(just think! We'll be able to say I knew her before she bacame a Hurricane Hunter!!) and finishing the brownies(THANKS JACKIE!!!)I am too tired to carry on so I'm hitting the sack.

Are you giving up anything for lent? Today is Ash Wednesday!! Speaking of, how did the Louisiana and Galveston contingents survive Fat Tuesday? Hey, cut it with the fat jokes!!! J/K! Bet you didn't know that Avatar is really a picture of me dancing at the beach!!! :o

OOps!! Almost forgot to throw some more logs on the fire!! Ungh!*throws 3 logs on the fire*There that should help warm things up some. Now back to my rocker and a good sleep!ZZZZZZzzzzzzz

For the observance of Lent, I believe I will give up on the United Nations! (Hope I didn't make an "ash" out of myself here)

Have to raise firehead from the dead for school, but got my minimum daily adulterous requirement of Kiran Chetry on Fox and Friends, so all's well...LOL

Morning everyone... Shannon it sounds like you had one hectic day! Whenever I feel overwhelmed from now on I will just think about the kinds of days you have and feel much more fortunate.

I am still not feeling well this morning, but I have a major test in French 201 and so I will make the commute, although I may not go to my first class.

Streetsoldier... LOL about giving up on the U.N. for lent. Sounds like a plan to me! :)

Amanzi...I don't think I will become an alcoholic. I don't drink at all --it's a personal choice I made after I watched my dad drink himself to jail.

Have a great day everyone and keep smilin'!
