Gee thanks!  This week is NO where near over! If you look at my planner for this week, its all highlighted yellow! Yellow means exams or quizzes. I still have 3 more exams to go. One today, a quiz on thursday, another midterm that is due on friday, and then YET another midterm on Monday!

David...Not quite yet. MEPS (milwaukee military medical place...I really don't know what it stands for) doesn't like the fact that I wear foam inserts in my shoes. So MEPS has disqualified me for my inserts, BUT they stamped "send to WA" on my files, which means I still have a chance! MEPS dq's everyone that has something wrong! Even for inserts, because they don't want any medical reasonings holding you back. (from what my recruiter was saying is that's MEPS's job to dq everyone for simple things!) The Waiver Authority (WA) usually approves everyone that MEPS dq's! So I have that going for me. But once I take my physical, then MEPS will actually get to see the foam inserts and NOT the prescription ones. I had actual prescription ones made and MEPS thought that I am wearing my prescription ones and NOT the foam ones. I couldn't wear the prescription ones, they hurt, did not fit in my shoes, bruised and blistered the bottom of my feet. I had to walk on my heals for about a week that way my feet could heal! That's what you call pain! I have not worn the prescription ones since about a week after I received them (that was 10th grade!). I like the foam ones and I'm sticking with them. Because of their unique size (I cut them back from the normal size) I can wear the foam ones with any shoes, even sandals! I hope that was easy to understand.

Jacki...share PLEASE! Peanut Butter chocolate are my favorites!!!

Good morning everyone...

Looks like rain for me today. It's been so long it seems - a little over a day without rain!

Thanks...my cough is a lot better but I can't get rid of these horrible headaches. Fortunately, I finally found something that works. Motrin Migraine doesn't get rid of the headaches, but it certainly eases them! :D
I've never had so many headaches so often in my life. Maybe it's stress. :o
Anyway, overall I'm better. I hope everyone else who is sick gets better soon!!! It seems a lot of people are sick with one thing or another. :?

All you guys getting snow...I hope you enjoy it. I envy you. Think of me while you play in it.

Pass the Caramel DeLites please?! They're my favorite, although I have no idea why they're called De-Lites. Don't read the label guys. Just one of those puppies will have you reaching for the Lipitor.

vb - Great news about your interview. Keep us posted.

southerngale - Hope the headaches take a hike.

pojo - How do you find time to even inhale? I had a schedule just like that when I was 19 or so. Didn't last, ended up with mono. Take care of your health first. Hmm, do I smell the big "21" approaching? What day is it, so we can bake a cake? We need more desserts around here. :D

stormcrazy - Thanks for the cookies. Enjoy your snow, because spring is coming up faster than you can say "Thin Mints".

wx - Good luck on your French test.

To everyone ... lots of good health, blessings, and interesting weather.

Afternoon everyone.

Donna makes a good point Shannon. I think that is what happened with me. I was running in too many different directions and I got bogged down and my immune system wasn't as strong as it would have been had I have been taking better care of myself. Try to find some time, as hard it is (I know), to relax. Your body will thank you.

I am feeling slightly better now. I never thought taking a French test would have such a positive impact on my health, but it has  That is about the only thing positive pertaining to the French as of late.

Jacki... Could I have a caramel delite please? Thanks in advance ;)

Everyone have a super afternoon. I am going to be posting like crazy this afternoon if I can keep feeling up to it.

This IS the hectic week. All my professors decided to schedule everything before Spring Break (which is the week of March 16th) that way we could actually try to relax and NOT think about classes.

Once this week is all is over, then I get to relax (and to party!) Yes my big 2-1 is coming up...March 11th. Its next Tuesday!

Knock on wood, I haven't had mono yet, but back in October, I had Bronchitis and laryngitis at the same time. It took a little to recoop, but I was soon back to normal. I actually wasn't busy when it happened last semester, one of my roommates was sick and well, it was handed down to me.

I only have classes at 8, 9, and 1 so that gives me a nice deserving break to relax. Plus on days that I don't have to work, then I have time to be myself. I try to relax when I'm sitting on the plasma bed (with a needle in my arm) talking with the technicians, or when I'm watching my swimming lesson kids during play time.

Believe me, I DO find time to relax. Its just a little hard to come by this week.

Good evening, WxBuds! It's cloudy with temps in the 60's...looks
like we finally have a warm up! YaaaaY! The folks down south
of me in Alabama are getting bad storms, tonight - they've had
several tornado warnings west of I-65 around Tuscaloosa.

Thanks for the cookies, Jacki! I had to put on my sad eyes to
get a box of thin mints away from David, but, he finally
gave in...LoL!

Southerngale, you better tell your doc about those headaches.
If they are migraines, there's all kinds of stuff out there for
treatment, now...Ya can't keep doing that, every day, girl.
(*am I fussing, again?) :o

Shannon, your schedule makes me shudder! You're bouncing
around like a basketball!

Garrett, keep feeling better. I think I am getting the 'ole
bronchitis, again, as well...been coughing, all day. Jeez...I
just had it a month ago! I'll probably squeeze some antibiotic
of my doc, tomorrow - like Barney Fife - "Nip it in the bud, Andy!" :ggreen:

Everyone have a good evening. (*munching another thin mint)

Evening everyone. You know Shannon...speaking of laryngitis...my voice went this afternoon. :multi: This is the first time I have ever lost my voice so it is a new experience for me.

Breeze...you take care of yourself, ok?

Everyone take care and have a great evening!

Hey all! I just got home, spent the day with my cuz (aka PuddleDuck). I got a cellphone! YAY! Now I dont have to worry about getting stuck and stranded in the snow! If you saw my pics you know that's a valid possibility given my go-cart of a car! Thanks to everyone who thought they were nice, I try!

So....the cookies were a hit? LOL, just found out that I ordered more than i thought, I have 4 more boxes coming sheesh! Somehow I am sure I'll find a way to get them all eaten, any ideas??

Well, so far this week I have had a whole overwhelming 4 hours of work! Yeah, I know, I need to calm down, lmao! Tomorrow doesn't look to be too hot of a day either so I may not add to that grand total very much! Note to self: Save what you can, you'll be broke next week!

I think I have rambled enough for now, good night everyone!

Have a great day at work Jacki. :multi: I am sorry you don't get to piddle around all day. I enjoy those days too, but look on the bright side: you will have a little more cash than just 4 hrs. worth of work.

Hello fellow Stovians...

I'll donate a few boxes of Girl Scout cookies - my daughter has sold 184 boxes - and our goal is 200 - so looks like Mom and Dad are going to stock up on Thin Mints and Carmel Delights.

DAVID - YOU KNOW I AM PRAYING for you. Your prayers helped me when I was laid off last summer - and I promise I will repay the debt 10x's.

Streetsoldier - me thinks Annabelle has special powers and I think she put a good word in for David.

The weather here is iffy to say the least. Its still COLD and partly cloudy. I saw the sun this morning for over 1 minute and was like blinded by it driving to work.

Lets hope we see more of it - my perspective has been really down with all this yucky and cloudy weather.

Gotta roll folks - time for lunch.
