LOL @ Duckie!!! You are in rare form today I see....;-)

Okay, now onto the Monday morning TV Guide critique......enjoy. Laughed at the Suzanne Somers reference.....LOL

Desperate Housewives
Um, I hate to break it to ABC, but the wives are becoming less desperate and more psychotic. Seriously, I get the horror of a messy house, but releasing a rat in her own home to "bend Tom to her will" has me fearing that Lynette shares a few too many attributes with certain serial killers and the tortured animals of their youths. Then there's Susan "accidentally" backing over Edie. Unless it was the Suzanne Somers roller-disco finery that sent her into a rage blackout. That I can understand. Otherwise, nobody deserves a broken tibia just for shacking up with their neighbor's ex. Who, by the way, is aging very nicely. Well done, Richard Burgi. (Now give our Rhoda Charles a call, would ya? She wants to…uh, talk about In Her Shoes. Yeah, that's it). Gaby and Bree, I'll give a break to, since one is in enough trouble now that the Arzt guy who blew up on Lost is keeping tabs on her coziness with crazy George and the other is so going to get what she deserves for subjecting Carlos to prison bitchery just to win control of her finances. Plus, the sight of our widow Van De Kamp clocking her whiney mother-in-law was delicious. And I'm not even married. Unlike Betty, Wisteria's biggest wacko. As glad as I am to hear that it's her bastard of an abusive hubby in those shackles downstairs instead of a random stranger or, like, the not-so-late Mr. Huber or something, it's still pretty out there, you know? Thankfully, the glory that is Alfre Woodard gives me hope that we can expect more than just a loony Lifetime-movie mess once Mr. Applewhite busts loose.

No.... seriously, he is dead. However, there is rumored to be an episode sometime this season with flashbacks to when each Housewife and family moved to Wisteria Lane and we would see him there, but only as a flashback(kinda like Mary Alice).

I wish but I think they'll drag this story out.

Isn't there going to be a wedding tonight? Watch it be Edie and Susan's ex....whatever his name is.

Brent, I understand you really want us to believe Rex is dead. But let us have our fun, b/c he was a likeable character and well, it's just hard to believe he is ~really~ dead. It may take me until the end of this season to really accept he was dead. I've watched way too many soaps in my day.....Bobby Ewing "dying" on Dallas, Roman Brady "dying" in his brother Bo's arms on Days, uh huh, another so called death.....LOL Oh yeah, another one.....Val "dying" on Knots Landing!

No... we will not find out til November Sweeps.

I wouldn't rule out a split second image of the person(I'm doubtful of that), but as far as WHO they are, no.

No... not yet. 7th or 8th episode. Probably during Sweeps as well(towards the end).

Susan will see Karl/Edie/Julie at church tonight... but Edie has a broken leg remember...

Bree is an idiot.

I'm sorry... she cannot see that George has murdered Rex and he did it to get closer to her?

Come on now...

Bree needs to tell the police he was a pharmacist. It's time for her to turn on him. Otherwise, she's going to be the prime suspect since she's the spouse. They will not look at George seriously til she is cleared.

I think he's the retarded son. He looks retarded and he's too young to be the husband. He looks like he's about the son's age... maybe slightly older. I would say 25-30.

It will... but not for awhile I don't think. The last spoiler I saw was that the producers still hadn't decided. I suspect it'll be a February Sweeps stunt(the Olympics will be on).

LOL @ getting the wedding rumors started. I thought it was to be tonight...he he Well, there was a church scene....

Bree, Bree, Bree - ditto on why she can't figure this out. George is extremely creepy, he's just too smiley for me. Maybe that's what she wants - a boring, benign guy to replace Rex....oh please. Love the promo's with Andrew asking if he'd EVER been with a woman. Good one! What I don't like is that cheesey smile he gives Bree, the plastered on one. Similar to her public smile, but deep down she's nice. He's not.

No one mentioned Lynette.....I don't know how long she's going to be able to juggle working. It's clear she wants to be home. Not all day but home more. Shame Tom can't miss work so much he goes job hunting. Can't stand her boss.....

Carlos will be the baby's father. That's what I think. And those tears Gabby let fall tonight, made me start to like her a little. Just a tad.

I've seen some interesting comments on other boards tonight... that Bree is playing George. She's getting closer to him to see if he'll finally fess up to it and she's probably going to do some hunting at the pharmacy or at his house. Apparently in an upcoming episode, a suspicious woman will warn Bree about George. Don't know who it is... but it sounds like this might not be the first time he's done something bad. Oh... and they still don't know Rex was murdered. Once Bree finds out, she's going to have to suspect George. Who else could it be?

Brent - at one point I wondered if she was playing him. As she was explaining why he needed to take the polygraph test in the greeting card section, something told me she was. But later, she seemed sincere. Acting within acting....LOL At the end when she was watching thru what I thought was not a two way mirror, George looked up and smiled. Did he really see Bree or know that mirror was a 2 way window/mirror? Creepy.....

I don't know what this actor did before DH but from now on, he'll always be remembered as the creepy pharmacist!
