How is this dramatization having a few fictous scenese any different than say Schindler's List, which was awarded global praise, yet is if full of so many lies that I cannot count, some of which were designed just to make the German's look far worse than already portrayed in history (such as the execution of Hauptsturmfuherer Goeth's houseboy... he survived and pointed out in a scerrning of the film, that he was depicted as being shot)
Path to 9/11 is a movie, just like Schindler's List is a movie, BOTH of which are well written and worth my time

While it would be very difficult indeed to make the Germans look "far worse" than they actually were, I have never offered any particular praise of Schindler's list and I certainly do not defend any specific historcal errors or falsehoods it may contain.

So, would you feel the same about a movie with top quality writing, acting and production which depicted 9/11 as, say an inside job? After all, some people seriously claim that it was. But personally, I would be objecting just as vehemently to that, and had ABC aired such a film I would have made the same decision not to watch their network any more.

if it clearly stated that it was a fictious account, the movie would be OK with me, just as path to 9/11 does
SL should have clearly stated the same, but I learned enough about what happened (including what was fake in the movie and what was left out... such as Hauptsturmfuherer Goeth facing execution in Auschwitz by the SS) to know that it is a movie, that is very well written

Part 2 was just as good. The final scenes were disturbing though(about the Government recieving 5 F's, 12 D's on 40 recommendations). The Primetime special is just as bad... Ammonium Nitrate to blow up a building can be stored close to the White House.

Five F's...twelve D's.
I'm wondering why they said John P. O'Neill and "an estimated 2973" died in the Towers. Estimated? I thought there was a definite count and a confirmed list of names now, not an estimate.

There was more than ONE. I agree the ONE your talking about was wrong. But the new Group of Ones had there heads in the sand in the beginning. Those ones could have helped the ONE in afganistan take on Bin Laden but instead he was murdered by a camera. He has seen the movie and said it was actually very kind to Clinton but was pretty hard on President Bush(especially Condi Rice).
Ah good ole ABC, told y'all.
I don't know how you comment on this without being political, hmmm...I'll try. When ONE has the chance to kill a terrorist leader and one CHOOSES not to, it is very hard not to put blame on that one when said terrorist leader later commits despicable events to innocent people.
