Good morning, it is a dreary day in KY (though a bit cool, supposed to hit upper 60s).
Garrett, I'm not laughing. My sister wants to be a singer.
Pojo, that's my dream too. Someday I want to be a TV met.
Karan, that description has me hungry too (and I just ate LOL!).
Make it a great one,
Jeremy

Karan, thanks for the KK's :). I've got 2 sick youngsters home with me and haven't taken the time to make myself breakfast, or lunch, sheesh, its getting late in the day. My children fly out for a month in FL on Monday, and I'm concerned they can't go if they're sick....anyway, its a beautiful day, from what I can see out the windows! Have a great day.

I guess I did too. I don't consult the calendar enough. Happy belated birthday Miss Mary! :multi:

Getting warm here as well. Currently sitting at 87º. We are supposed to hit 92º tomorrow. If I wanted deep south weather I would have moved there! Yeesh! ;) LOL.

Happy Thursday Porch Fans! 8-)

Sandi - That's a truly worthwhile thing to be involved in. It's sad that we need so many "GALs" in the first place. God bless!

Furry - Hope those kids are feeling better by Monday!

Happy birthday, Madam Mary!!! :new-bday:

:o Sorry I missed your birthday Miss Mary. :(

On a lighter note, my toe is feeling better today, especially tonight. It's still oozing, so I need to soak it later. I'll stop there. ;)

The weather here today was overcast for a good part of the day (darn marine layer :( ). It barely hit 70.

I had some KK's today (actually 4 of them.) I thought of Crouton when I ate them. :D ;)

Saturday is my mom's birthday, so tomorrow we are going to celebrate it - therefore I will be on later than usual. Joshua

Let's see...with more than 300 people on board these days, we'll have a birthday to celebrate almost every day!

And, as you can see Mary, your birthday got found out.

Had a great visit with my old HS friend at Cracker Barrel this morning. Took a terrific photo of the two of us, too.

While much shorter than you, Dennis, this guy has all the ingredients of a great mountain main. Hair pulled back in a pony tail. Nice full face. And the best personality around.

I took the time to look him in the eye and tell him how great it was to see him, how happy I was that he took the time to call, and that we both must appreciate the blessings we've been given.

A neat guy...a neat visit. If you wanna check out the pic of the two of us, just request by e-mail a snipit be sent your way.

So glad to hear about Dakota today...even though Raine's optimism is guarded. And great news you are feeling better too Josh.

Have a nice Friday. Payday for us!

Finally, no more working at the Broadview YMCA!!! The politics at Broadview are pretty interesting anyways...its was time to get away for at least a session! Back in the fall though

Chad and everyone else sitting by the fans...how's the heat??? It was gorgeous here in Menasha! 75* and sunny! :D

Jeremy...three words of advice...Physics and Calculus! You will need to study those two subjects like there's no tomorrow! I'm dead serious!

Howdy everyone. No one had time to sit on the Front Porch today I guess. I have been busy myself.

This morning when I took my grandmother to get her hair done I sat in the car and listened to the radio. There was a contest asking for the 7th caller. I dialed and on the first try I got to make a fool of myself on the airwaves. But... I won a $50 gift certificate to Bass Pro! :o :multi: I was excited.

Everyone have a good weekend...and keep all of the Storm2K'ers that are in need in your thoughts and prayers! :)

On and off busy days here in Massachusetts. I am spending mostly late night here to catch up on most posts. I am trying to spend a bit of time during the late afternoon, but that will not be possible during most of the next eleven days (including today).

I am looking forward to watching, as much as I can and experiencing the storm system moving into the Boston area this weekend then the appreciated warm up this upcoming week after the system passes through the area. :)

Garrett, congratulations on winning the $50 gift certificate. Enjoy it. :)

See everyone around...

Good morning! Talked to our corporate office people in Dover DE yesterday and they have had it with the wet spring. It's been so bad that they would even trade places with our 108+ temps every day! So I hope you enjoyed the storm in Massachusetts.

Speaking of storms, we had a pretty good dust storm roll through Phoenix again last night. Actually, these are primarly outflow gust fronts from storms over the more mountainous terrain that wander into the valley frm the east or southeast. Got another shot of similar weather today, but a fairly widespread blanket of clouds over us at daybreak.

Gulfbreezer...your goal in life is a terrific one. We had a friend back in Illinois who started up a chapter of CASA, Court Appointed Special Advocate I think it stood for, where she would help find people who would represent the interests of children in court proceedings where parents were part of the problem, not part of the solution. I always thought that was a wonderful mission to assume.

Speaking of special advocates...POJO...be thankful that six year old was only trying to kiss the girls. My dad, who drove a school bus for many years, has a whole bag full of school bus stories that involved much more than casual kissing among kids...even 6 year olds.

This is a cleanup weekend at our house. A little of this and a little of that. And a snooze or two in between.

Hope each and every one of you find something to smile about over the weekend...

Oh, and Josh, wish mom a happy birthday for us won't you!

Morning everyone. It is that time again... time to mow the lawn! :) Hehehe. I guess I should wait a little while and give the neighbors time to wake up though.

Everyone have a super Saturday!

Good Afternoon everyone. What a relief to hear that Dakota very well may be on the mend. PTL! Jackioe is a very special woman, with a very special family....love goes out to them all.

Well, I've been packing the kids all day, for their month in Florida. Time is racing by. It's hard to let them go for so long....they are getting the "jitters", in anticipation of flying, and leaving our home.

They fly Monday at 10:43 am.... I ask that you all join me in please in praying for them, for their flight crew, and the passengers they will be traveling with, as they head off into the skies.

We have a week with no children, and then Brian's son joins us for the summer the following Saturday. It will be special times, to have him with us 1 on 1 and give us plenty of time to spoil him, and shower him with love. He's in a not so great home situation in IL, and we are hoping to be the catalyst for helping him turn his life around. Pray for us all, please!

Have a great rest of the weekend everyone!
