Evening everyone. I spent the afternoon shopping for groceries and battling this computer. I have been banished to the one downstairs since the one upstairs is moody! This one kept displaying error messages and closing the windows... so I downloaded Netscape and haven't a problem. :D I actually kind of like it better!

Have a good evening,
Garrett

Hey Garrette, sorry I missed you earlier. I'm glad you've got your computer problems figured out. I tried to get on chat tonight and couldn't. I was so bummed exspecially with this being the official start of hurricane season. Oh well, what can you do. I'll figure it out sooner or later. It was good to here from you again. I'll try and catch you tomorow. Goodnight everyone.

Morning everyone! Looks absolutely fabulous out there. I thought I would stop in this morning and leave a fresh pot of coffee for anyone who wants it. I don't drink coffee so I settled for an orange juice. :)

It is the start of Hurricane Season today so it looks like we will be busy here @ S2K during the coming months. I look forward to posting and learning over there.

Tomorrow starts summer school for one of the sisters so I will become carpool brother once again. So much for sleeping in!

Everyone have a great day!

Good Morning and a FINE one it is at that........someone's sitting in the NCSO Jail in Holbrook this morning after ruining his life!!!! Sound a bit harsh and bitter????? You betcha, some JERK up for the weekend took his ATV after (the officer said he admitted to drinking a *18* pack of beer) drinking, speeding in the *hood* over 60 MPH and he hit a kid, didn't hurt the kid THANK YOU JESUS 8-) Michelle and I with 5 other neighbors called the PLPD, the nimrod RAN from them (DUH!) and upon a small chase, caught the JERK and hauled his sorry butt to Holbrook 8-) :D 8-) :D 8-) :D There IS justice in this world SOMETIMES  We were filling out reports until 2200 last night so needless to say, I missed chat, ah well, we took ONE NIMROD off the road 8-)

So.......how's everyone?? Me, GGGggggreat :D Enjoying the *show* Ma Natures been puttin' on for us the last few days, around 1400 hrs, we've had some high based boomers building up, I even had to run the windshield wipers yesterday :D Not much in the way of rain just lotsa lightning, which isn't good BUT.......so far, the forest service has been jumpin' on these small lightning strikes and getting the fires out before they grow

Well, I need another cuppa Joe and a smoke, OH........we're going to a new church today, too many politics with our *old church* whatta shame, ppl have to throw politics into a house meant to worship our Lord, ah well, ppl will be ppl, right?

WooHoo!! Happy June 1st everyone!!!

AZ, I completely understand your need to find another church! I am so grateful for the church I go to!! Do you ever listen to Joyce Meyer???? If not, try to listen to her if you can while channel surfing. SHE IS AWESOME!!! You seem like the type of person who can appreciate her! If you would like, PM me and I can send you one of her tapes and you can check it out! She is my rock when I need a "spiritual spanking".

Thanks for the coffee!! Where is Crouton?? AND KK"S??

I have seen her on TV Sandi!

I don't have any KK places around here or would have brought some. All we have is Dunkin' Donuts! :D Didn't know if ya'll were willing to lower you standards for our donuts. LOL!

Dennis...alcohol and drivin' just don't mix, whether it is an ATV or a full size vehicle. Glad the kid was not hurt.

New churches can be difficult to find a comfort level. And yes, because church requires people to manage it, there is always some politics. Got a good taste of that back in Illinois.

Still, Kathy and I went back to our ONLY church...where we went to Sunday school, were confirmed, got married, etc.., and God does talk to us in that place. But he does here too.

WX247....good donuts are good donuts wherever they come from. So, if you wanna help find Crouton just leave one of those with the sprinkles on it right there by the door. Within ten minutes that little piggy will be there...and then want to sit on your lap and thank you for it!

PS...I could see the boomers up your way yesterday , Dennis. Too early to consider it a done deal for every afternoon.

Gotta go in to work this afternoon to give a group of Cub Scouts a tour of the plant. They love the sound of that running press!!!!

Have a good day everyone.

Good Morning Everyone...Happy Hurricane Season! ;) (let's hope it's a safe one!)

Thanks for the coffee Garrett....yummy!!

My cousin and her 2 children are spending the weekend at my parents' house from the Brownwood area and me and my little ones and my sister and her family went over there to visit, swim, etc. yesterday and last night and my dad ordered pizza and picked up 4 dozen Krispy Kremes!! We have leftovers so here you go...enjoy!! :D

My cousin and her kids are going to my church this morning and when I woke up my son Dustin said, "Momma, I don't feel so good. My body hurts all over." Bless his heart...I took his temp. and it was over 102° so we're staying home today. :( He's five years old. I gave him Children's Advil so hopefully he'll feel better soon. He's set up on the couch with cartoons, juice, and a Dimetapp Get Better Bear sucker.

Dennis, good luck finding a new church. That is a shame with your old church, but I'm sure you'll find one that you feel at home in in no time. ;)
I feel very luck with my church. The people are so wonderful and my kids are very happy there.

Everyone have a great day! :D

Southerngale... when I was in high school I attended a lot of speech/debate contests. I seemed to lose my voice and have sore throats a lot. Nothing cured me quicker than the Dimetapp Get-Better Bears. I love the cherry flavored personally! :D Hope your little gets better soon.

We don't need much more rain, Dennis, you want some?
Pojo, I definitely will take that advice. I want to be a TV met here in Cincy. Which would be excellent. Anyway, not a lot going on right now. I have some time to post before I go eat. Anyway, make it a great one, would ya?

I am ready to go out for the late afternoon and evening. Thought I'd check into the Front Porch before stepping out. I spent the last few hours here catching up on the posts that caught my eye, the only reason for this is because I have dial-up access, as well as not being onlin as often as I can be or would like to be.

Nice, (Garrett) a Dunkin Donuts mention... Dunkin Donuts started in Randolph, Massachusetts... where I lived for the first 19 months of my life. I was in Randolph this past Wednesday, too. :) There are only a few of them in the Orlando area.

KK have taken over the world except around here it seems. I know they are building one in Springfield (about 45 minutes from here) so I will have to have one when it opens. If I am nice, I might even share... ;)

I have been working this afternoon on opening our pool back up. Can't wait till it is back up and ready for use. :)

Howdy Sandi. I usually try to stop by the front porch first thing in the morning, but I hate to reply back to back with myself because I feel I am typing for my own enjoyment.

Crouton will be back as soon as we leave some KK's out.

It has been a rainy day here, but my grandmother and I still got our walk in. :) We took our umbrellas just in case.

Everyone enjoy the day... even if it is Monday! :D

Well, the summer internship has officially started, and we are in the information retrival stage. Many universities around the US has successfully launched High Altitude Balloons and hopefully with their support and answers, our team may launch one here in Wisconsin. My group consists of 3 from MSOE (Milwaukee School of Engineering), 2 from Marquette and myself. I am the ONLY scientist on the crew...so I have to hold my ground in the midst of all the Engineering students (it should not be that hard to do); but thankfully, there is another lady on the team. I'm currently staying on the Marquette Campus. Right in Downtown Milwaukee, Marquette is actually a neat, but expensive campus, just don't walk outside at night. Very much a bustling campus (just imagine if this was the fall semester...the commotion would be ten times worse).

Glad to hear that Dakota is on the mend. That poor boy has been through a whole heck of a lot!

You'll find this interesting---> Here I am in Milwaukee and I saw a GUAM license plate...yes a Guam License plate! I'm dead serious! I was stopped behind the jeep with the Guam plates at a stoplight. I've seen Hawaii plates, but now I can add Guam to the list. I didn't believe it at first, but it dawned on me that people can have their vehicles shipped overseas. It was wired seeing a Guam license plate here in Milwaukee.

I put some KK's out (oops, I hope Crouton didn't hear that!)

Guam eh Shannon? I have seen Hawaii and Alaska before, but never Guam. I will have to be on the lookout for that one.

Well folks... I knew it was coming one day and it has... Darla has been offered a job out of town, way out of town -- back in Sedalia. She will be moving in about a month. It is back to bachelorville.

We got a nice soaking rain today... 1.6" of nice, gentle soaking rain. I was out in it a little getting the pool here up and going. It should be ready to jump into by Thursday or so. Now...if the weather would just cooperate. ;)

Everyone have a great Tuesday!
